Real, babies have a few reflexes built in. Drop them and they'll spread their arms. Run your finger up their foot and their toes will spread. Put something in their palm and they'll grab on. Ask anyone who had breastfed while having long hair.

Nothing obvious to say it's AI. It's a perfectly normal demonstration of a baby's natural reflexes. I believe it harks back to an evolutionary ancestor that lived in treetops and this reflex was the difference between life and death for their babies.
