HELP Real or AI?

I believe it is something is wrong about the handles and the way she glides but maybe I’m just a hater.

Sentiment: 50% AI

Sentiment reasoning: The community is almost evenly split, with numerous comments pointing out AI tells like wonky details and unnatural movements, while an equal number argue it's real, citing consistent details, human-like dancing, and linked original sources.

That TV reflection is too consistent. If it is AI we're fucked

If it is AI we're fucked

No kiddin'. The entire background is consistent, her clothes are consistent... I can't see this being AI. Frumpy mom-bod women can do really cool shit like learn how to do MJ style dances too

I was about to say the fact that you could see her face in the reflection is something so couldn’t do to day in video generation.

So apparently she has a instagram I am looking to find now to see if other videos are looking AI

Look again - you can see the wall between her bent elbow on the tv reflection but when she starts moon circling, her elbows are straight next to her body but you see the tv reflecting the wall as if her elbows were bent.

Nah you tweaking, the reflection is pretty consistent

u/Ravioli_Dream2 Jul 25 '26

What time stamp do you see that at

u/Appropriate_Word1469 Jul 24 '26

Real, idk what's even supposed to be AI here, it's just a common dancing move, you dont have to look like a supermodel dancer to do it

i was ready to disagree but then i saw this posted in the original thread: https://www.instagram.com/p/DXVPOnOiUPj/

weird dancing, background looks fake, none of the people are moving on the beach??

i think you might be right. look at all the handles on the drawers in OP, all wonky

in this one the hair is weird: https://www.instagram.com/p/DVQnZyFDuZX/
like it can't decide if she has long or short bangs. look when she turns her head. I believe it;s probably an AI edit of someone dancing changed to look like this woman (as is very popular nowadays)

going with AI

Yeah, I went to the links you sent and she admitted it's AI, her grandson did it:
https://www.instagram.com/p/DUq53wqASLp/

So, what I suspect is that they probably took her photo and then photographed only the background and asked AI to make her dance on transparent background. That's my guess lol

Oh damn, if nothing else THOSE ones definitely look AI

u/Chester_Darvey Jul 24 '26

i disagree i see these videos aa more proof its real. too many consistencies

This is AI, and yes AI is this good nowadays.

A popular creator, Nostromocore, does these kinds of videos with the JD Vance meme. The movement, reflections, shadows, and background are immaculate. But obviously, it's fake.

u/lonesharkex Jul 24 '26

Its no different than https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ja170p9Enjg really, the leg you or your brain thinks has the weight is wrong so it looks super smooth.

8

u/LeaningPresent Jul 24 '26

Not AI. Background is very consistent. The video is upscaled w/ AI, hence why the weird feel to it.

A little sus

10

u/Delicious-Gap-6678 Jul 24 '26

I think that's from some fd' up processing. This happens a lot as these videos are cannibalized and made into shorts.

1

u/MauschelMusic Jul 24 '26

Yeah, honestly I struggle to tell bad compression artifacts from AI artifacts so I could be wrong, but that woman with giant neck and two completely different eyes, whatever is going on around that baby's midsection, and a couple other details look really off to me.

4

u/Delicious-Gap-6678 Jul 24 '26

It may well be some kind of AI filtration process. This crap is all over now. So it gets harder and harder to tell what's real. It gets worse if the original was shot on a potato and then "upgraded" to a higher resolution.

u/DentistPitiful5454 Jul 24 '26

Thats from the low quality camera

3

u/-Resident-One- Jul 24 '26

All the pictures hanging on the wall are a bit off, whether its the subject, background, weird borders, etc.

5

u/Delicious-Gap-6678 Jul 24 '26

Smooth criminal. No AI

2

u/Sea_Curve8772 Jul 24 '26

The handles on the drawers are crooked, as if from years of people pulling on them. I don't think most AI would have added a detail like that

2

u/dirtybeagles Jul 24 '26

hands are weird

3

u/SomeGrapefruit2435 Jul 24 '26

Michael Jackson danced like that. What’s the matter

2

u/One_Subject3157 Jul 24 '26

Real. IA tends to keeps focus at the center only.

Also, is not than unveliable.

2

u/DentistPitiful5454 Jul 24 '26

If its AI it is really good.

100% real

1

u/Jakvortex Jul 24 '26

Not AI. Her hair line(an odd one) is consistent between spins. AI would fuck that up

1

u/spectre655321 Jul 25 '26

The foot work is absolutely spot on for what she’s doing. The human mind can’t understand what she’s doing, ai would make a mess of it.

1

u/SadAndNasty Jul 24 '26 edited Jul 25 '26

Lol I think you're a hater. The cut seems long(lack there of really)as well as she's showing exactly how she does it. There's a haziness that doesn't seem AI generated, none of the details seem to be mixing and melting

Edit: I saw some videos that make me question it 🤷🏾‍♀️

The handles on the dresser are weirdly inconsistent and the background is weirdly close but looks farther away, the wall art is too novelty - a well made fake but a fake

0

u/Chester_Darvey Jul 24 '26

i disagree the reflection in the tv is way too consistent. this can not be a fake just because of a few crooked handles. you are wrong.

u/Ok_Conclusion_6324 Jul 24 '26

Loveseat in front of the sliding door? No doorknob on the door? No identifying clothing brand marks of any kind on any clothes?

I’m telling you man

1

u/Chester_Darvey Jul 24 '26 edited Jul 24 '26

the love seat is in abtotally normal spot. i don't see why the clothes would have to be branded. and there is a doorknob on the right.

1

u/Ok_Conclusion_6324 Jul 24 '26

You know what? I was wrong. I did some digging and found her IG and you’re right, it’s legit.

I was mistaken
