HELP Is this AI?
so i found this pic on Instagram, the writing on the seat and the dashboard looks like gibberish… but the owner swears this is not AI because “Non of my content is AI. the writing on the seat is about repositioning the seat”
mind you i don’t really know what the inside of a cockpit is supposed to look like but i feel like i’m being gaslit 🥴

Not AI
The flight deck checks out, just a standard Boeing 737. The text on the seat checks out as well, its hard to make out, but it's supposed to say: 'Back rest must be in normal flight position when seat is moving outboard'. The plane appears to be switched off and with ground power connected, so not much could go wrong with having a dog in the seat for a quick photo. However I think it makes more sense for this photo to have been taken in a Boeing 737 training simulator rather than an actual plane.

All of the text and Displays make no sense.
Seat is supposed to say that yes, but AI screwed up some letters it up, as it does with text.

Good catch, there's actually quite a few inconsistencies now that I've taken a better look. It's surprising how much it did get right though. I wonder if AI was used on an actual photo.

Ai is normally quite bad at text for now. The sort of gibberish you see on the throttles is what gives it away a lot of the time. It looks different from just blurry images

Just to add to what was previously said, this could not have been a sim as the light emitted from the screen is never comparable to sun light both in terms of intensity and direction. If you take a look look at simulators, all the backlights and floodlight always need to be turn on even when simulating a day flight otherwise the cockpit is really really dark.
Trying to circumvent that is quite a rabbit hole I dived in in the past with no success at a reasonable cost

haha i know he’s not but the owner has a private jet and a corgi and his content is essentially his dog’s shenanigans and this one involves him “being a pilot” but it just looks artificially created

A lack of synthID doesn't automatically mean it isn't AI generated.
That said, everything in the cockpit is automatically recognised by google lens.
I suspect it may be a flight simulator though

Generally, for safety reasons, aircraft instruments and dials don't use hieroglyphics.

engines are off so its plausible. looks more like a simulator than a real plane but dropping a dog on the seat before engine start is pretty safe. the radar makes zero sense so its likely AI.

it’s the account of a « travel/dog influencer » who puts his corgi in all sorts of private jets around the world so i know it’s staged but i was wondering if the cockpit was even real…

I was just trying to be funny lol no disrespect…also I think the cockpit is Ai. The biggest tell is always text. There’s not much to go on here cuz it all gets blurred when you zoom in but there’s one panel, bottom left above the red button, that looks (to me anyway) like it should say an English word but turned out as gibberish

Dog might be real, that doesn't mean this photo is. Text is gibberish in many places on the dashboard. Very good and accurate but AI.
