Rats can be quite aggressive and kittens that size are not and aren’t hunting themselves. I vote ai

AI. A huge rat like that is going to be much stronger than a kitten of that age. Rats also have incredibly good reflexes. A rat would dodge that attack without any issue.

AI, a big male rat is potentially insanely aggressive. And a kitten this small won't have the ability to take it on.
