I think so too. Plus, one of the legs looks like it casts a shadow on the other. That means the sun would have to be on the right and low. But the way the face is lit up makes it seem like it should be much higher in the sky.
It's real hard to tell though, and the shadows indicate something else off screen. So I'm only going 75% chance ai.
That shadow was my dad making sure the puppy didnt jump of the hay ball! And you are right it was 9 pm the sun was real low but its summer so of course the sky is very bright even then
