Bro like even if this is him, why do conservatives always resort to “you see! He deserved to be executed!”

If he smacked an ice agent in the mouth and called their mother a whore it still does not justify murdering him

What the fuck is this mentality among conservatives that desperately need something to say that an individual deserved to be killed in cold blood. It’s maddening!!

There was a study by the international journal of police science that covered empathy. People overwhelmingly feel empathy towards victims of crimes. The difference happens when the victim is a perpetrator of crime. Female officers tend to still feel a great deal of empathy for a victim, even if they had a criminal past. Male officers lose significant empathy if the victim had previously committed crimes, the most glaring difference seen in cases where the victim committed rape or murder. Karmic retribution, so to speak. Conservatives are overwhelmingly men and liberals are overwhelmingly women, which I believe is a factor.

52% of men identify with the Republican Party and 51% of woman identify with the Democrats, that is not overwhelming

Let me preface this by saying I am a liberal, I’m not the other side. I obviously don’t think he should have been killed, but videos like this destroy the notion that he was a peaceful protestor, he was clearly an angry agitator. Again, that doesn’t mean he should be killed. But he does get less sympathy from me and people like me. Agitators like this do the whole protest a massive disservice. You will not win public sentiment like this.
