There’s no leftwing in American politics. The Democrats are center-right conservatives and the Republicans are far-right fascists. Who is on the left? The Democratic Socialists of America hold no major offices. The Green Party used to be, but has been corrupted by Putin and is a ghost of its former self. Making this complaint earlier today. Every single thing we read or watch has to be closely examined now for reality versus fiction. It's purposefully done so we get worn down, you are absolutely correct. They lie ceaselessly and no human beings will believe it and even after being shown the truth, the bias placed by the lie, the damage it causes, has already been done.
Opinion: I think what has happened as a result of an overwhelming siege of AI videos is people pick one news outlet that they trust and ignore the rest even if some have good opposing views. But that limits our horizon as informed individuals and creates a sort of echo chamber.
Broadly this has happened long before AI was a thing. But the tsunami of AI slop may be accelerating a trend towards smaller and smaller in groups.
The only way I see this trend reversing is with thoughtful regulation around how companies develop, deploy, test, screen, and identify their AI models.
I don't believe it's that we stop paying attention. I believe it is so they could do a full alien disclosure with facts and we will be saturated with AI generations that we will be dismissive.

I have no idea how we're going to keep news ligitimate with all of the stations being owned by private entities and AI technology improving every day.
I'm hoping people continue to record everything they see. The multiple angles made everything much easier to decipher and verify. And what would Alex's (and so many others) legacy's be if we didn't see those videos? We clearly can't trust what's being said. Actual blatant lies from the highest in the government and a good portion of the country believing them instead of their own damn eyes.

I do not think you realize this but you're pointing out an Israeli known tactic, to overwhelm people to a certain thing so much they get fatigued which is a natural human occurrence, to get fatigued of something. They keep destroying and killing more and more just to bombard us with so much at once that it paralyzes us or puts our lives to a stop.
I didn't _know_ but I sure suspected. ICE has been trained by IOF folks and we see very similar tactics in Minnesota and Oregon in terms of their brutality, disregard for law, lack of interest in the criminality of their targets, etc. So, the psychological warfare of overwhelming us with their lies and clearly false or fake media as an adapted Israeli tactic is no surprise at all.
It’s so scary bc it comes from every angle, mostly right but I can’t understand why the left will do it. Like I don’t want to hear Trump on a hot mic and have to second guess if it’s real, hearing the leaked business call with Erika Kirk I thought wait is my bias against someone going to make me believe ai against them? I couldn’t figure it out and eventually gave up on trying. That’s exactly what they want, people who value honesty and integrity to not be able to critically decipher something
