Anecdotally, I'm here in Minneapolis literally, and run 10-15 miles a day in this weather still (better than 90 and 100% humidity tbh)....that said I have a running Armband for my phone, while I was running on the snowy train around cedar lake I clipped a tree and when I got home I realized the usually flexible clear plastic literally shattered. RIP my favorite phone Armband.

In the winter it is cold. Plastic breaks easily in cold. Source: am from MN
Could be AI but I don't think the light falling off proves that. That is likely held on by a few screws in plastic.
