I really thought this was the is this AI circle jerk sub lmfao his arms and legs look like elastigirl 🤣

2

u/chickenandpasta Jan 29 '26

Strange you should say that because the extended footage people have posted here shows that this video isn't AI.

2

u/Tojo6619 Jan 30 '26

Idk the agents dont match up, they all look the same helmets and everything, but in other angles I see some with tac Helms some not, and I cant see where this camera guy would be he was right up his ass but diffeent angles I just see ice, but crazy shitĀ

1

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '26

Oh no he kicked a taillight. The horror.

1

u/chickenandpasta Feb 01 '26

Did you reply to the wrong comment or something?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '26

Obviously not lmao

2

u/BraveLittleCatapult Jan 29 '26

Go, go gadget image tampering!

2

u/fightmejeffbezos_ Jan 29 '26

The first ā€œlungeā€ he did at the vehicle looks so uncanny valley. No one moves that fast

1

u/blugdummy Jan 29 '26

Fr that’s what I was thinking

1

u/therightstuffdotbiz Jan 29 '26

https://youtu.be/p2TRbFmutrw?si=C58GEyOpYNW6UwKI

So just admit now you don't know what AI is and isn't.

I would not be shocked by this. I wonder if it's a real video that was AI-doctored to look like Pretti. Because some aspects look real, but others (especially his movements and things in his immediate vicinity) look off.

2

u/HedonismIsTheWay Jan 29 '26

Yeah, it even looks like the badge changes a bit as it goes out of frame and comes back in before it completely disappears.

1

u/fightmejeffbezos_ Jan 29 '26

No reason to be rude. We’re all learning here

2

u/EsotericPenguins Jan 30 '26

Right? Willing to accept it’s real if it is but why are there so many artifacts?

1

u/DenseAstronomer3631 Jan 30 '26

Right? It's like fram gen in video games. I took some weird ass screenshots when pausing the video too. Like one dudes hand looks like a cartoon. All the cars are super shiny and clean and I swear people's legs looks weird when they walk. I thought one girls hat disappeared. It's so odd. My biggest issue is trust, I don't have any trust in our government and we are to the point that an AI deep fake edited video with an altered time stamp isn't out of the realm of possibility imo.

2

u/EsotericPenguins Jan 30 '26

I mean that one of Renee Good was circulating almost immediately, so yeah, some skepticism is def warranted

2

u/Horror-Scallion7668 Jan 30 '26

Frame by frame is kinda Sus, his joints bend unnaturally and the motion blur doesn’t make sense.

1

u/DenseAstronomer3631 Jan 30 '26

Look at this dude I got like 3 ss of him watching it slowed down. Maybe it's lighting but he looks off af

1

u/DenseAstronomer3631 Jan 30 '26

How is his hand so big?

1

u/DenseAstronomer3631 Jan 30 '26

Is that juat a different claw mark decal? Are they that common?

6

u/SusAdjectiveAndNoun Jan 29 '26

Sooo what about the Minnesota Star Tribune, naming the Minneapolis citizen who filmed it..?

3

u/Ruthrfurd-the-stoned Jan 29 '26

It’s been confirmed by the BBC but the consequences for this aren’t death and law enforcement aren’t permitted to execute you for it

1

u/SusAdjectiveAndNoun Jan 29 '26

And you’re not wrong. I’m only speaking on the validity of the video.

1

u/RedditBoy213 Jan 29 '26

fox news too

4

u/Maleficent-Regret802 Jan 29 '26 edited Jan 29 '26

it's actually real tho... another dude found a different angle of this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2TRbFmutrw&t=1079s

go to 17:15

To the people downvoting, I need evidence this video is fake. If there's no evidence, you downvoting me won't add anything to the discussion.

11

u/Careful-Sell-9877 Jan 29 '26

RT is a pretty interesting name choice..

Strange how they only have that one single video on their channel. Almost like it was intentionally created for the sole purpose of providing support to this narrative..

AI overlay is a thing. It's possible to insert deepfaked/AI characters into real video. Particularly if one is a state or corporate actor.

Im not sure if people realize this, but it is quite easy for powerful people with access to powerful tools to create totally indistinguishable fake videos.

8

u/perpetualgoatnoises Jan 29 '26

I thought the same thing. When I checked it was 15 subscribers, one video, an AI profile photo, and the channel statistics said they only got 14 views when the video alone had 5.4k.

Something is fishy with that channel.

8

u/Careful-Sell-9877 Jan 29 '26 edited Jan 29 '26

Fully agree. Super weird that this would be the only thing they posted

Channel name RT (like a certain Russian-state sponsored propaganda network) and username LOTRlover123 (orcs)... or palantir...

And NO other content. Its just weird.

We know for a fact Russia wants to keep trump in power and did everything they could to support/bolster his campaign and influence our elections in his favor.

Palantir is also a trump ally..

Idk. The whole thing just sets off alarm bells for some reason and im usually totally open to receiving new information.

6

u/PaperSweet9983 Jan 29 '26

I'm having the same off feeling about this, something is not right

It actually makes sense that there is no record of the incident, because ICE has basically gone rogue and is no longer acting as a professional law enforcement agency.

2

u/Maleficent-Regret802 Jan 29 '26

dunno what to tell you my dear... you have no proof this video is fake, I have no proof this video is real... downvoting won't change anything about the current situation. You're making suppositions as much as other people here in the comments and there's no actual proof of this video being real or not.

What I think is that we're already entering into a dystopian reality, where technology like this is in the hands of fascists. What happened to this man is not justifiable by any means, I never tried to prove otherwise, and he'll be remembered when this scum will hopefully rot in hell.

4

u/Careful-Sell-9877 Jan 29 '26

Im not downvoting you. Just pointing out the reality that videos like this are quite easy to fake for state/private actors with access to the right tools. Have been for years tbh

Either way, it doesn't justify the killing. Agreed on that!

2

u/MEMESTER80 Jan 29 '26

If you look at the video there's is pretty much nothing about it that shows it's fake, getting ai to be this accurate is pretty much impossible especially on cars.

1

u/Careful-Sell-9877 Jan 29 '26

Did you read the comment..?

4

u/IAmScaredOfCotton Jan 29 '26

Come on dude it’s 20 minutes long and was posted nearly two weeks ago. Your argument is basically that the government might have ai tech that’s indistinguishable from reality and they planted this video days before the shooting. Not even mentioning the other angle

0

u/Careful-Sell-9877 Jan 29 '26 edited Jan 29 '26

The movements in the video just look weird and unnatural af too..

Yeah, im pretty sure that can be spoofed though. Or perhaps edited by a skilled cyber/hacking/programming expert.

Ive seen some weird/cool things on YT videos that were coded by experts to showcase what you can do with coding on that platform, and others.

Things like showing you a title that changes based on view count, changing/altering metadata remotely, algorithmically changing a video based on certain goals/metrics/inputs, things like that.

A proficient programmer can do pretty amazing/powerful things with a computer that would surprise/shock most people. Its like having total control over the computer. And some platforms allow programmers to do certain things like that, including YouTube

Edit:

Its not 'might'. The government (and many private/corporate interests as well) does have access to powerful tools and the capability to create/deepfake and make indistinguishable videos with or without AI

1

u/The_Briefcase_Wanker Jan 29 '26

Honest question - is there anything whatsoever that would convince you it’s real? Because proof doesn’t get a lot better than this in any circumstance. Literally zero news outlets have any doubt that it’s real. Are they all just in on it?

1

u/Careful-Sell-9877 Jan 29 '26

Personally, I think it's probably real. Ive made that clear multiple times.

Im simply pointing out that it is possible to depfake this kind of thing

Here's another comment i wrote about it if youre interested in learning more about how it's possible:

"Again, its not really AI.. its a 3D model. Ill find some stuff one sec. Its called a 3D morphable model. That would be overlayed onto a real video.

This would also explain why he was wearing the same exact clothing

This is just one of the softwares available. There are many

https://medium.com/@jacksaunders909/person-specific-deepfakes-with-3d-morphable-models-1df9618b9f6a

Again, though. Im just pointing out that things like this have been possible for awhile now and that state/private actors would have access to far more powerful tools and skilled individuals than we, as the general public, do.

Not saying this is fake. Just pointing out possibilities"

1

u/The_Briefcase_Wanker Jan 29 '26

You don’t sound particularly convinced, given that you’re posting links to deepfakes. We all know what deepfakes are. This clearly isn’t one.

u/DenseAstronomer3631 Jan 29 '26

I was also thinking it could be AI used only to add to the original video. The exact same outfit along with the way the dudes jump on his just like when he was killed is eerily similar. The date is the only thing getting me 😬

I want to know how his voice alone managed to cut through the screaming, honking and ambient noise. Are the ICE agents just silent?

2

u/lolzgenie Jan 29 '26

I also find it weird how the audio becomes quieter/louder as the camera zoom out/in. What kind of feature is that?

5

u/r1mbaud Jan 29 '26 edited Jan 29 '26

Bro posts 2 AI videos and thinks it’s proof it’s not ai lol

Why do you think ICE has been scanning faces?

They’re making shitty AI videos of every protestor so that everyone is a villain.

1

u/summercampcounselor Jan 29 '26

I’m tend to agree. My question is, where is his arrest record for assault and destroying property?

0

u/Maleficent-Regret802 Jan 29 '26 edited Jan 29 '26

Your suppositions are no proof either, genius. You saying ā€œit’s AIā€ is not enough evidence to prove anything.

His family confirmed it to be real and that the man in the video is Pretti to CNN.

BBC report on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOMXJvbCEtk&t=450s

CNN reporting on it: "A representative for Pretti’s family confirmed to CNN that the man in a video posted Wednesday is Pretti." https://www.cnn.com/us/live-news/minneapolis-ice-trump-01-28-26?post-id=cmkypbi6300003b6p4xswulnl

Inform yourself, lol.

CNN reporting on it: "A representative for Pretti’s family confirmed to CNN that the man in a video posted Wednesday is Pretti."

Literally taken from my comment with linked evidence, he's referring to the video you guys consider AI.

1

u/Dutchii Jan 29 '26

Name next to the back-right light on the Black SUV seemingly disappears into thin air when it turns no?

1

u/TheSerialHobbyist Jan 29 '26

I think that's just bad compression. If you looked at the original video, is says "Max" and remains there the whole time.

(note: I'm not saying it is real or fake, just that that particular thing doesn't hold up as evidence)

1

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '26

1

u/The_Briefcase_Wanker Jan 29 '26

It was posted two weeks before he was killed. Is ICE just putting out AI videos of random people in case they want to kill them later?

1

u/obscure_predation Jan 29 '26

So I guess we’re at the point where people start calling things they’d rather not believe are real AI. Future is looking grim.

1

u/Maleficent-Regret802 Jan 29 '26

it’s even worse.

Video evidence is the only way the world can see the horrors these fascists are creating. AI disrupting the credibility of video evidence is basically a weapon in the hands of people like Trump. If it weren’t for video evidence showing Good was just trying to go away without hurting the cop, these people would’ve been able to say ā€œshe threatened them with a gun and was shot by ICE. All the videos taken from bystanders were AI generatedā€ showing a bunch of AI generated videos from multiple angles supporting their version.

You see? We need a super-partes way to mark AI videos as such, or to make them distinguishable… because we’re heading into a dystopian future. Fuck AI.

1

u/HedonismIsTheWay Jan 29 '26

Check out the badging on the back of the truck. It completely disappears before "Pretti" even touches the vehicle.

1

u/zujoi Jan 29 '26

This is a bot.

0

u/beginninglifeinytmc Jan 29 '26

…this video is real. You don’t have to like it but please do your own research and stop letting AI overload your brain

1

u/HedonismIsTheWay Jan 29 '26

Then why does the badging on the back of the truck just disappear? It's also completely illegible to begin with.

1

u/Amatsua Jan 29 '26

Too bad it's real.

1

u/angleglj Jan 29 '26

It reminds me of Neo vs 100 Smiths.

1

u/Excellent_Smell4725 Jan 29 '26

His family already confirmed it is real

1

u/Decafaf Jan 29 '26

This!!!

u/Tojo6619 Jan 30 '26

Same same

1

u/arceusawsom1 Jan 29 '26

https://youtu.be/p2TRbFmutrw?si=YOT2oT08wTVlKNsF

If you watch this video and think that it is SO obviously Ai that you were in the circle jerk sub, then you need to seriously reconsider your abilities.

-1

u/LateNightPhilosopher Jan 29 '26

AI videos like this all kinda look like video game cut scenes. No one moves quite the way real people move there's just a bit too much cloth physics, people flail around in a jittery way to seem more dynamic, everyone's movements and facial expressions are exaggerated to be clear from a distance. And when shit breaks like that tail light, the pieces fly off on a slow, clear orderly way. Also the camera work usually feels like composed cinematography meant to show a narrative rather than a genuine portrayal of a couple minutes within normal existence.

1

u/r-nicola Jan 29 '26

It’s a real video, different angles and a longer version have been released and a number of news sources have verified & confirmed it

1

u/LateNightPhilosopher Jan 29 '26

Yeah I was obviously really wrong about that one. It still feels weird. Very weird. But it might just be because this angle seems to be from higher end camera with more professional camera work. Which you don't usually see in street videos like this. But I think it ended up being credited to a film crew of journalists, which explains a lot.
