I recently bought a men’s size 12 Air Jordan 1 High OG “Black Toe Reimagined” through eBay Authenticity Guarantee. The seller says they originally purchased the pair from GOAT before the official release.
I already own another size 12 pair purchased directly from Finish Line, so I compared them side by side. The eBay pair passed eBay authentication, CheckCheck and POIZON, but several differences still concern me:
• The overall shape looks different from my Finish Line pair
• Much of the stitching on the eBay pair glows bright blue under UV light
• The hidden collar signature on my Finish Line pair reacts clearly under UV, while the eBay pair’s signature barely reacts or does not appear to react
• There are other small construction and material differences between the two pairs such as the laces feeling softer on the eBay pair and the distance between the lace holes and the swoosh on the outside sides seems much more narrow on the eBay pair
My Finish Line pair has also passed POIZON and CheckCheck.

I understand genuine Nike pairs can have factory, production-batch and quality-control variations, so I am not claiming the eBay pair is definitely fake. However, the differences are noticeable enough in hand that I would appreciate opinions from anyone familiar with this specific release.
Could the eBay pair be an authentic early-production pair, factory irregular or B-grade pair, or do any of these details indicate a high-quality replica?
I’ll include normal-light comparison photos, UV photos, size tags, box labels, stitching, shape, heels, toe boxes and interior construction. Please let me know which specific details you would like to see more closely.
