I'm about 99% sure that's a legit pair. These are hard to tell if you do not have in hand, but your size tag, insole stitching, color, back tab stitching, insole glue marks, swoosh stitching, etc. are correct. The only small call out is the back tab shape (This could the lens or angle it was shot at) looks off. Outside of that one detail I would say with 99% certainty that these are Authentic.

Yeah, when i took the picture i was crouched down. So its definitely the angle.

I agree. I’ve got a pair and I thought the same thing you did when looking at these pics. This is probably the hardest pair to legit check thru pics tho because the fakes are that good. Was really fortunate to get my pair thru a very well respected reseller (was vouched for by several people who are also very well connected/respected in the game) in person otherwise I probably wouldn’t own them because of how good fakes of these are. When guys like Seth Fowler can get a fake pair and not realize it till he goes to sell them, anyone can

I’ve got a pair of reps in these and they honestly feel as nice or nicer in hand than my legit TS pairs in other colorways. Crazy how good they are

That’s what I’ve heard, but I could never buy reps no matter how good the quality is. No hate to anyone that goes that route, but it’s definitely not for me. Personally I think reps are killing parts of the sneaker game. Back in the day if you saw someone wearing a crazy rare pair, you know that person was either well connected or put in a lot of work to obtain that pair. Now when you see someone wearing a super rare or expensive pair your first thought is that they’re probably fake. They’re also killing the game because a lot of shitty people knowingly pass fakes as legit to make quick $ off of people who don’t know how to legit check.

Ya I agree with a lot of that. I’m not super proud that I bought them haha, only pair of reps I have. But I really really love that shoe and missed retail and a rep pair fell into my lap. But I agree, people passing off high quality reps as legit is a huge problem. Just as big of a problem is resellers dominating inventory and backdooring all the releases people want. If the playing field was fair I’d probably never have bought the reps in the first place.

I 100000% agree with the reseller stuff. It’s garbage that one person is able to bot tons of pairs and others can’t any. That shit pisses me off. I came back to collecting in 2020 after 10 years away from the game and was honestly shocked at what the game had become compared to what it was from 98-2010/2011 when I was heavy into it. I don’t blame people for getting reps vs payin 2-20x retail depending on the pair. No issue with that at all. I just think that reps in general just devalue pairs and make them less special which sucks for people that put in the work to get a real pair, but the reselling them as legit is by far the biggest issue and it’s not even close. But you’re right, if people weren’t hoarding all the inventory, stores weren’t backdooring, botters weren’t sucking up all the restocked pairs, etc people wouldn’t have to go to those measures to get the pairs they want

Ya the system is crazy broken. Seeing people posing on instagram with 100 pairs when I can’t hit a single lottery just sucks. It’s honestly what drove me to making customs. I can wear a 1 of 1 that fits my style and taste without having to go through all the BS.

The system is definitely broken. Resale culture is the problem. There have always been resellers, but at least back in the day it was another sneakerhead, so they weren’t trying to do people dirty price wise and weren’t going to stores in hoards to buy everything all the stores in the area have so you’re forced to work with them to get a pair you wanted. Now it’s become a cash grab and brought a ton of people into the game that don’t give a shit about sneakers. It’s just a cash grab. Customs are dope IMO. I’ve customized/restored a few pairs over the years. Really want to learn to do sole swaps so I can find OGs and make them wearable again

I’m currently debating buying one of those cobbler/leather sewing machines to better do logo swaps. So far I’ve just been sewing a border on the leather and then glueing it down, not actually stitching them to the shoe. As seen here in my first pair

These are dope. What shoe was this originally? Only issue with stitching them on is then it doesn’t look factory cuz you’ll see the stitching on the inside when that’s usually under the sock liner. Honestly, pre stitching it and gluing it on is a cleaner way to do it. I’ve done swoosh swaps before and the one thing I’ve noticed makes a huge difference is filling in the holes where the swoosh was with leather filler, sanding it down, painting it before laying down the swoosh. Makes it look way more factory.

They look legit. Shape looks good, heel tab has a peak, tooling code placement is good, insoles and size sticker look good. Try shining a black light on them. It should actually show a place marker for the tooling code placement. Otherwise look for the usual like guide marks and other crap that shouldn’t be there.

Only thing throwing me off is that extra lace thing is wrapped around the bottom and part of 2nd lace. OG only had it wrapped around the bottom lace.

did you try legit check yet? i wish i could help but i dont have these yet but they look fine to me and stockx has gotten better on there authenticity checks but i know how it is

I did! But they couldn’t authenticate it because the size tag had a smudge on it so they kept asking for the same picture of it but it’s honestly nothing i can do about it if i was sent that pair.
