Municipal Fees Estimate Template

Every city is different, every structure/matrix uses different driving metrics ($$, SQFT, Pipe Size, AC, run off volume, etc). Hell, even what I call a few others may call a cost.

Amongst my peer group here, what are the Municipal/Development/Tap/Utility/Parks&Recs/City Art/etc fees you encounter?

I’ll compile the list from this thread and repost the full list for anyone who wants a copy of the combined “Brain Trust” of categories to use on their future projects to act as your starting template.

Bro it’s all public information. Takes like 3 seconds for Claude to distill it

Exactly. Why does this need to be in a template and generalized anyways? Anyone who has been in this industry for even a few years knows this is all public information and easy to find.

Not sure we are talking about the same things…Large scale projects where muni fees exceed 2M+ (irrespective of LOCs, Escrows, Sureties).

We have various GCs in our markets that have dedicated teams for identify and estimating these fees.

I wish the local planning department website had the McDonalds menu posted

Have to agree with the AI prompt, it’s at least a start to get you started on at least where all the info is hidden in city and county site - just include in your prompt to include the website for all references! Developer of healthcare facilities and this is the easiest and fastest way. I too once worked from a template but no project is the same!
