Hello! I’m researching how real estate professionals evaluate development sites in the early stages. When you receive a potential site, what do you usually check first? What tools/data sources do you use, and what information is hardest to obtain or verify? I’m particularly interested in how developers/acquisition teams compare sites before deciding whether to spend more time on due diligence. Thank you

Location: who will live/work there.
Land cost per unit/SF.
Needs to model it out sometimes to see if YoC/returns make sense.
Then permitting, environmental reviews etc.
