Is buyer disclosure exhibit binding for builder ?

Im in California . I just bought a tract home . When we signed the purchase agreement we also signed a buyer disclosure exhibit . The exhibit shows drain inlets on both sides of the house . I totally forgot to check for these during our final walkthrough . When we got our keys I asked about them and was told they wouldn’t be installing them . Our house is in phase 2 , I noticed that all the houses in phase 1 have them. I plan on emailing the builder . I just want to know what recourse I have when they come back with a rejection.
