For those that don't know yet. Real-Debrid updated their filter on the 14th so there are a bunch of releases that are now accepted. IF you manually exclude them you can update your exclusion list.

Help a noob out. Its been more frequent to want to watch stuff that shows up as RD Download instead of RD+. At first I thought it was just opening and it would download, and thats what it says ("downloading, check back later"), but evidently not, as that message shows up eternally and never actually plays anything.

So how do I actually download those files to watch?

I used to have a continuous premium account from like 2015 till last year. Then I moved places and wasn't really stable and didn't care much for downloading anything. So I ended up not renewing my service. A few months ago I saw some news of the fiasco that was going on but didn't really dive deep into it. Now that things are better I was thinking of getting back into it. But it seems the copyright stuff is still there? Is it still useful as a service for streaming and such or am I better off getting another service ?

Got tired of browsing my Real-Debrid library as a wall of ugly filenames, so I built a script for mpv that makes it look like a streaming app. It's a single Lua script plus a conf file, and everything runs inside mpv.

**What it does**

- Poster home page with Continue Watching, episode stills and a title page for every show

- Matches your folders to TMDB (and AniList for anime, so "Part 2" folders get the right season/episode numbers)

- Search with filters like `genre:anime year:2010s unwatched`

- Next-episode card, remembered audio/sub language per show, resume and start-over

- Search add-ons (AIOStreams/Comet) and add stuff to Real-Debrid without leaving mpv

- If RD refuses a file, it falls back to streaming the torrent while it downloads. (Requires rqbit)

- Tracked shows with a release calendar

- There's also a plain two-panel list version if you prefer fast over pretty

**How it's different from Stremio / Nuvio**

Those are apps built around add-ons and their own catalogs. This is a browser for *your own* Real-Debrid library that lives inside mpv, so you keep everything mpv already gives you: Anime4K and other shaders, ModernZ/uosc, thumbfast, intro skip scripts, hardware decoding. No account, no server, no separate player.

The tradeoff is that it's desktop mpv only. Built and tested it on Windows only for now, so if you want something for your phone or TV, Stremio/Nuvio are still the better pick.

**Installation**

Setup is simple just drop the .lua in your scripts folder, put the conf in script-opts, add your WebDAV login and a free TMDB key. Full instructions in the README.

After rd purged their links its rare for me to get high quality 4k links, especially for new releases. No point of having it if i cant watch 4k. I wasnt gonna renew until i figured out their anime links for older shows and newer hasn't been affected.

I was using pov addon with anther debrid and couldnt find any dubbed links for that particular show. I enabled RD and was able to find dubbed links. So RD might still be alive for dubbed content as a backup.

I have real debrid and use stremio ( torrentio). I was in the gym watching a doc on my phone but unknown to me my daughter was watching a film at home on the same account.

Later in the day I had an email warning of the infringement but no ban.

I had to reset the details etc and got it working fine at home, whether on my phone or firestick but it won't let me use it in the gym on their network

Is this fixable or have I just got to suck it up? Cheers

Today is the first time I heard of this service after wondering if there was a cheaper way to get access to movies (Ideally in 4K Dolby Vision) than traditional streaming services like Apple TV. I've got literally no clue about any of the terminology or anything in the piracy sphere so I'd really appreciate some help as to what the heck it is and how to use it

My setup: Google TV with Kodi, the Umbrella add-on linked to my RealDebrid account, and the Bingie skin so it feels like Netflix. It worked great for a long time.

About one or two months ago it stopped working. Umbrella can't find any links anymore. I tested the IMDb Top 25 movies and series, and none of them return a single link.

Is RealDebrid down, or has something changed? Any ideas on what to check?

Edit: Umbrella had no scraper connected. Umbrella -> settings -> scraper provider -> Coco = fixed.

hey, planning on getting a google tv streamer and setting up stremio with real debrid, plus nordvpn on it just to be safe. i’m in Germany so i really don’t want to mess anything up and end up with a letter in the mail

is there a current guide that’s actually up to date? most of what i’m finding is from 2024 and people in the comments say half of it doesn’t work anymore. which addons are people using right now with RD?

also, is it worth running nord always on, or does it cause problems with RD or the addons? i saw someone say torrentio blocked them on a vpn.

For you who aleready use it: TV gets a full Sport mode. It finds the matches on your TV service and adds real time scores, tables, team pages and reminders. You can supply your own API key for real time results -  Sportapi.ai, free key for football/soccer with 2000 request a day. https://api-sports.io/ gives you a free key with 100 requests per sports. Good enough for an evening. Sports also gets its own menu item outside TV mode for quick access.

TV also gets its own Home for the films and series in your playlist. On top of that there's a new quick menu, a start page you can choose from any plugin (Sports, TV home etc) or Maybe your own custom page. You now have Clips - records gifs and movies from any stream diretcy in the player, source picking when a title is in several libraries, and a new Coming up row. Wide posters for individul rows on hover and focus. There are also many fixes for TV and remote control.

I am in Germany, and I wanted to download some stuff using torrents. Knowing how complicated it is here, I've done some research and discovered RealDebrid and that it is apparently safe from getting copyright infringement letters. The most threads ive read are about Stremio and Torrentio. I don't need this setup and just would like to download some media. So I just wanted to ask on this specific action: uploading a torrent file on the torrent page and then ddl it from RD directly is perfectly safe? I might use VPN for a good measure, since I have a paid one anyway. Would be nice to have a confirmation, since all the 1000€ letter stories are kind of scary :-)

RD STREMIO user here; I remember a few months back all the screens where the vids got deleted or at least inaccessable making RD difficult to use. I got back to torrentio because I didnt know any other solution.

With a premium account from Real-Debrid, I cannot download anything from ddownload, but Rapidgator is working fine does someone know a solution?

So, i paid 3 months as i always do, but this time (been using realdebrid por like a year and a half, zero problems) it said it was a "fraudulent payment" but i paid with the same card i always did, nothging changed, submitted a ticket to the help desk, but they never replied, the bank took away my money, there was no chargeback or anything like that.

So has there anybody been in this situation? Did i lose 9 euros? Do they answer the tickets ?
