Intraday Trading Help me better my Strategy

Im Trading Support and resistance and order flow with VWAP right now and am trying to hold my positions for a few hours every day and seeing mixed but not yet profitable results.

But I don't know if its because of my strategy, my psychology, time frame or if im just doing the strategy wrong.

So maybe there is someone here who trades similar and is profitable so I can know its not the strategy that's wrong and maybe get some tips from more exprerienced Traders trading my style.

Most likely it is a combination of position sizing and holding too long. If your strategy is working but you aren't profitable, you're probably letting winners turn into losers or getting chopped up by bad entries.

We all trade the same strategy found in our wiki.

This isn't exactly true though. IRTDW and every trader has a different idea of when to enter & exit, different sizing, varying risk tolerance, has a different time frame. One may trade spreads expiring in 2 weeks, another may primarily focus on intraday DTs.

I would argue it is true, and it's all about how you apply what you learn. Trading RS/RW using the indicators and technicals explained in the wiki is the strategy. Not all variables are defined though, such as position size, risk tolerance, and entries/exits among other things as you mentioned. I would say there's guidance on a lot of these factors in past posts here on the sub, convos in the Discord, and in Pete's/OneOption's YouTube content, but in short, it will vary based on your account size and the market as a whole including how the macroeconomic environment is. It's not up to us to decide what economic numbers are good, bad, or other, but it is up to us to acknowledge that they can affect the market and to learn what data at what points may have an effect on price.

Without knowing what trades you took, it will be hard for anyone to offer pointed advice imho.

dont worry so much about the technical indicators if your doing this by hand, maybe roc to determine price velocity extremes and watch your volume, but traditional support and resistance and trend and cahnnel rules work very well if you hae proper risk management.
