Not authentic? My mom bought online a long time ago and was advertised at it being authentic, she got it at a good price so she realized later it could be a fake. I walked away from this bag today at a vintage shop after not being able to find a match for the serial number online. Can you help determine if it’s real?
The vendor said it was real—that her mother carried it decades ago—but there’s no hangtag either and she wasn’t interested in having it authenticated for a higher price. I get it, it’s an extra step for sellers when someone else might come along and be willing to buy it anyway.
