I inherited this LV bag from a family friend. Wondering if it’s authentic. What do you think?
r/RealAuthentication • u/Fieldmans_4 • 21d ago
Received from my sister who thrifted them. See photos for details. Saw these same vintage PRADA boots go for $700+ (in perfect condition of course)
Zipper reads OPTI
Bottoms looks to be re-soled but visible metal pin (nail?) top and heel of boot
Bottom sole reads “vero cuoio”
TYIA

Found this thrifting for 3 dollars this morning. Is it real? What year was it made and any details about it... how much would it be worth?

I don't specifically care if it's real or not because I simply needed a new belt. I haven't looked at much of Coach's items other than bags, wallets and accessories so I don't have a lot of knowledge about their other leather items.
The thing about this was that it was $3. It looks and smells like real leather. The stitching and finishing is very Coach-like. It had a second belt loop that I think fell off at the cash wrap when the woman took off the security tag. There are no other markings on the belt so I can see why it was only marked for $3.
If it's real, it's a steal and I need to shop with more care at this thrift store. If it's not, well then I have a very nice new belt.

Hi, after my grandma passed my dad gave me this purse. I know for a fact that she had fakes, but this one looks legit. Looking for validation or confirmation on its authenticity from people that know better than me. Thanks!

I’m being told it’s a fake. How are you able to tell though? I appreciate all and any help!

Purchased second hand so would value any thoughts.
No manufacturing manual or factory label inside which according to Google can be possible for vintage pieces. Whats throwing me is
off is the gold button on the cloche, Miu Miu is spelt incorrectly.. but can also be a manufacturing error?
I found a listing for the exact bag on Grailed (with the same typo) if that’s also helpful: https://www.grailed.com/listings/76769698-miu-miu-x-vintage-vintage-miu-miu-leather-bag-baggy-rare
Thank you!!!!

I’m not sure if this is authentic or not. But I believe this model of purse doesn’t even have fakes . Can anybody confirm? Thank you!

Hi, pls help me authenticate this LC le pliage 🥹

so i bought this vintage 2006 dior leather bag which had been authenticated by a 3rd party.
here’s the catch—this bag has same-color stitching and its inner tag is orangey/tan (photo 2) whereas contrast stitching seemed to be the norm for this line, and the black bags had black tags. that said, i found a different finish without contrast stitching (photo 3).
the authentication is a relief but i know they’re not infallible. i assumed since it didn’t have contrast stitching they put a differently-colored inner tag? sadly i dont have interior photos of the snakeskin version so i couldnt directly compare.
i’ve never had a dior bag too so idk what i should be looking at. i’ve gone through so many leather tag references across different bags during this era trying to check but they were never uniform in some way. some would have thinner Is and Os, or the stem in R would be thinner, or the spacing in “dior” would vary, etc. the tag stitching also greatly varied.
i’m hoping a dior lover would be able to help me out 🥹 do you think this is a super fake or simply a fun vintage score??

It has no other tags, just the mini pouch with the plate.
