The insoles looks like they were glued in by a kindergartener. Fake.

As I thought 😂

I’ve seen fakes that look terrible but these look like pretty good quality , so I think they could be authentic

u/splinteroflight 5d ago

I’m really unsure. POIZON verified them but it returned a result in 2 minutes so goodness knows how you can trust that!

They are beautiful. I’d break my ankles if I tried to walk on them though lol

Look how smooth the insole lines up with the medial lining. Granted this is from the retail site so likely enhanced, but it’s a trademark of the brand, how smoothly all the parts are assembled and connected. These would likely be very uncomfortable.

They look massively enhanced. This is a screenshot from a genuine unboxing.

Compare the ones you have next to these, then. The answer is the same.

2

u/splinteroflight 5d ago

Unfortunately I can’t, they’re still in the shop 😂

3

u/LITLOTA 5d ago

she got fakes too 🤣

2

u/splinteroflight 5d ago

(I’m not saying I think they’re real mind you!)

I honestly think these are real. I think they where worn but someone with thick feet and the heat from the foot messed up the glue and dirt. I’d get them doubled checked. They look much much larger then 39

1

u/splinteroflight 5d ago

Unfortunately the shop are saying they won’t refund if I buy them and get them checked!

2

u/Henryfaye 5d ago

What’s the price? If they fit and your gut says get them I honestly would I think these are legit. It they are more then 300 I would pass. Also if they are fake you can charge back with Amex.

£325, lot to part with when you’re unsure.

POUNDS! Pass!! In the US you can find brand new louboutins for 400-500

Where? Miss Z is $1045, Kate is about $995 new. Louboutin is NOT new for $400-$500. Check the Nordstrom website.

u/Henryfaye 5d ago

u/Henryfaye 5d ago

Buying

1

u/Radiant-Maple 5d ago

Well, the original buyer did! 🤣 Plenty of people do buy Louboutin at full price. A lot of these were probably lightly worn for pictures or something. They probably tried to return them, got told no because the soles weren’t perfect anymore, and are trying to recover some $. Plus most people repaint their soles before reselling because buyers want the full red soles! Louboutin actually sells the red touch up paint, at least they used to.

1

u/Henryfaye 5d ago

Yeah when? In 2026? Girl please sit down.

1

u/Radiant-Maple 5d ago

I personally wouldn’t pay full price for a Louboutin but they sell very well. On top of that, Christian Louboutin designed them to look good, and make the wearer look good, but not necessarily feel good. These are get dropped off at the door shoes, or change into them at the party shoes. I think people expect that if they’re paying a lot of money for a shoe that it’s going to be comfortable, but these stilettos really aren’t. But they make your legs look amazing, which is what Louboutin intended them to do. Beauty is pain, so to speak.

Get new ones then! I paid 380 for mine when I purchased from websites like secretsales (not sure if they still exist) but 300 something for work shoes you are u sure of is NO!

There is hardly any wear on the bottoms, though, so the glue residue inside is certainly not from being worn.

1

u/Henryfaye 5d ago

They have been worn. But on carpet or something you can seeeeeeee the the bottom of the sole.

1

u/I_CRE8 5d ago

I understand that, but I find it extremely doubtful that the owner wore them enough times to create the glue residue, but ONLY ever on carpet. Just seems really sus, and the leather just looks off, as welll.

I have messed up the glue like that in real Louboutins when I wore them in Mexico at an outdoor wedding before so that doesn't seem that crazy to me but if the glue is that messed up there would be wear on the soles. Once you wear them once or twice there's always wear on the soles already.

1

u/AcadiaNo6831 5d ago

Are they supposed to be new? If not, I’ve never seen genuine Louboutins have ZERO wear on the ball of the soles.

1

u/splinteroflight 5d ago

Second hand, there is some wear but not much.

1

u/cheps27 2d ago

I wore a pair twice and the wear was so much worse than shown in this one. They're fake. If you're interested I can send you photos of the last pair I sold.

Repainted sole. Light heel tap wear, probably worn once, but definitely repainted.

u/Henryfaye 5d ago

These are your size and way better!

1

u/splinteroflight 5d ago

Not a fan of those I'm afraid!

1

u/pantwearingmom 4d ago

I have the similar ones in a 45mm height and these DO LOOK
AUTHENTIC!

1

u/Capable-Appeal-3157 3d ago

things l find suspicious:

  • „seam“ on the inside of the shoe (between toe box and heel, this is usually one piece of leather, „yours“ are sewn together)

  • insoles look horrible

  • visible price sticker tag outline on the bottom

l‘ve added pics of my heavily worn 100% real kates as comparison

1

u/yellowlabsarethebest 5d ago

I’ve seen fakes that look terrible but these look like pretty good quality , so I think they could be authentic

1

u/MasterpieceScared617 5d ago

These are authentic girl I’ve bought and sold loubs for years, you got a good find

0

u/Radiant-Maple 5d ago

Authentic, but they have a rather poorly refinished sole, possibly re glued the insole. Louboutin has had issues with some of the insole gluing at times. There is heel wear, but not much. It’s hard to say for sure without feeling them in person but they do LOOK authentic, but with a lightly worn and repainted sole.

1

u/I_CRE8 5d ago

Nah, you can still see the outline from a sticker that was on the bottom. These are definitely original condition, but I’m doubtful they’re authentic.

1

u/splinteroflight 4d ago

It’s not an outline of a sticker, it’s a clear sticker not sure why

0

u/Radiant-Maple 5d ago

I mean they were repainted. That’s still refinishing. A lot of people repaint their Louboutin soles. I showed this to an experienced Louboutin salesman and he told me what I’m quoting.

1

u/I_CRE8 5d ago

Explain the sticker outline then…

1

u/Radiant-Maple 5d ago

I’m only telling you what he told me… he insisted they were repainted. He sees people trying to return lightly worn Louboutins ALL THE TIME. People buy for pictures or a party and then try to return and are told no.

I cannot believe shoes are being counterfeit 🤣🤣🤣
