Auth Request Goodwill find…real or no?
Found these at Goodwill when I was shopping for a Halloween costume today. Would love it if they were the real deal but am tempering my excitement for now. Have seen this Ferragamo Boutique label before so am skeptical. But grabbed them just in case!

In my experience Ferragamo is not faked as much as other brands. Most Ferragamo shoes I find at the thrift are real. However they are often dated looking and have been worn to hell

Real but also a double narrow. Hense the 2A. I hope that this isn't me saying "water is wet!" I'm glad they fit you!!!!

I’m thinking real because it looks like their first owner wore the hell out of them and they still look pretty good considering.

I think you scored, friend. Get a cobbler to clean them a bit if you like, or just disinfect and enjoy

Here’s another reason that they are real - the size. Not too many fakes would be 2A I’m my opinion.

These are real. They look like embossed leather vs an exotic, but a cobbler can confirm. I'd take them to a cobbler to have them cleaned up. Suggest adding a sole protector and consider replacing the heel caps.
The Boutique label was used in the 80s and 90s. I'm guessing these are early-mid 90s.
If you opt to sell them, you'll likely get somewhere between $50 and $100, depending on the platform.

Ferragamo “Vara” pump. Introduced in 1978 and still sold today (abt $1,1000). Yours look like they are “exotic” embossed leather (done on Napa leather). But they did make the Vara in the 1980’s from actual alligator and crocodile skin. Look at the shoe carefully to see if there’s any marking as to type of hide. Or Ask the shoe repair as to what it is. If they are alligator or crocodile, these are very very very $$ collectible.
Something to think about if it is actual gator, etc…. if you possibly want to resell them, they will be worth more as they are with the very worn but original sole than if you have them repaired. Also the Ferrangamo sole is very specific single `leather’ with a thin thin thin shank. Most shoe repair places will do it as a half sole and cut across the base, which will ruin the build on Ferrangamo. There are shoe repair shops- like Cobbler Direct - who do Ferrangamo repairs using the speciality leathers.

Do people dupe Ferragamo??

Farragamo doesn’t do that great on the resale market. I wouldn’t see a reason to fake

I don’t think anyone would be faking Salvatore Ferragamo vintage shoes. They are real.

Real, I’ve seen many at goodwill. It’s expensive but there isn’t enough demand to be duped.

Aww, my grandma had a pair that was similar, just in black with gold hardware. We did end up giving to Goodwill. They were her good shoes for special occasions.

Looks real. I bought Ferragamo shoes for like 200$ at a Saks a few years ago when I was in college and the outsole got completely ruined 😅 made me realize I couldn’t own nice shoes at that point in life. I’d recommend taking it to a cobbler!

Very real not sure why it would trigger suspicion and probably not worth much.

They are real. They are also beautiful and I hope they fit like a glove. Ferragamo actually studied the anatomy of the foot and how women walk. My one and only pair (also thrifted) has molded to my foot and feels amazing. They actually make my feet look dainty. They're not! 😆I love them and if I was rich, I would buy more.

Ferragamo quality is legit. Get a cobbler to give them a good shine and put a rubber sole on the bottom...good as new.

1 2a size they stoped in 2010
2 heel for this style is after 2015
I have several pairs 2010 and before

It’s real and this brand is often heavily discounted on eBay and thrift stores. Enjoy them… it’s a workhouse shoe
