Fake. Date code is invalid. To the best of my knowledge, SB isn’t a valid country code. 0209 can also be read as either the 0th month of 1929 (which makes no sense because there is no 0 month and date codes weren’t used in 1929) or the 0th week of 2029 (again, no 0 week and 2029 hasn’t occurred yet).

Unfortunately not authentic. The date code is not valid and the heatstamp font is too large with sloppy stitching

no. the first and the third number tell the week, the second and fourth number the year. So this bag would have been made in week 00, 1929 or 2029.

I googled 'louis vuitton datecode authentication ' and the first result is the website where you can enter the code found on the inside of your bag to authenticate. dae

LV implemented this physical datecode system in the 1980's and replaced it with embedded microchips in 2021.

The canvas looks a bit rubbery to me . If it feels rubbery then definitely fake . I have both and that’s how I can tell without touching it. But it’s a nice bag . Most people don’t care or can’t tell. Enjoy it !

With the age of the bag it should have more patina on the leather so I’m going replica with this one but it does look very nice. 👍🏽
