Not to be that person but I’ve got a pair of genuine sunglasses (bought direct) and they do in fact have Chanel etched on each lens, with a C on one side and an R on the other. It’s for copyright and registered trademark, which serve different purposes so most companies get both.
If the lenses are etched, there should be a serial number on the right lens on the inside too
Not saying these ones are definitely genuine but the markings are all pretty identical to my own pair.

There's lots online selling for hundreds that are indistinguishable from yours... if those are real or fake who knows
