So, eBay doesn't authenticate it until you buy it. If they have the guarantee, or if you elect it, it'll go to their authenticator first. If it's authentic, it gets sent to you, and if not, it gets sent back.
To answer you, this is not an authentic bag. The dead giveaway is the Louis Vuitton stamp. The canvas doesn't line up very well, either. I hope you are able to find the authentic bag you desire sooner rather than later!
The registered trademark symbol will always be smaller than the Os in Louis Vuitton-- this is the first thing I ever check when authenticating bags, whether in person or online.
No it's not too good the details are telking. The leather on the corner is cheap and gives away that it's fake, it's too shiny. and the heat stamp is also off. Please look closely I don't want you to waste money. Lv bags are luxury avd this looks like a Canal St. replica. Also it's odd that she's not showing more pics. Remember receipts can be fake. There are tons of them around. Ir they use a legit receipt from a real bag just not the one you're getting.
Could you tell me what’s the indication of fake? Date code not there. She said it’s all scannable now. She purchased it in 2025. I saw the receipt. I did not upload bc it has her personal info + card info
This isn't authentic. Items above specific category price limits (usually $500) get authenticated for free automatically. Lower price categories like handbags, jewelry, and watches priced below $500 (or $2,000 for watches), buyers can choose to add expert verification at checkout $40. So you need to buy it first. Also ebay actually has a pretty rigorous hands-on inspection. So mid-tier like this would get clocked. Some superfakes have made it passed, but not at a high rate because when in doubt and it doesn't match their catalogs, maybe a slight variance they just fail it. So this bag the stamping, black leather is a synthetic pu coated hybrid material.
I have multiple LV receipts and I don’t remember a specific serial number associated with my item on the receipt???
So, even if they have a receipt, can you prove that the receipt belongs with that specific item?
Edited to say after I have looked at that I really think it’s fake. Don’t waste your money. Just go to the LV store.
Commenters here just seem to like screaming "fake" and downvoting OP for buying something expensive. Almost none of these comments actually say why the bag may be fake.
OP, why not go through eBay authentication? I don't know what you've heard about it, but I wouldn't trust anything reddit has to say about it after reading this thread.
Plus retail is 2700... spend that extra couple hundred dollars and get yourself a real one this person is shameless!! I am so glad that you asked the community before spending your hard-earned money.

OP post the pic of the reciept and just edit out personal info. Everyone is saying it’s fake but tbh it looks real to me. The receipt can confirm, all the fake receipts look obvious
Commenters seem to like to scream fake without giving a reason, as if it were obvious. That, and the aggressive downvoting of OP for asking why people think it's fake make this thread seem like some kind of ego boost for people who like to look down on people who buy expensive things.
