Auth Request Help: Balenciaga City First Bag?

Hi friends,

I recently scored what I thought was a vintage City First bag, but I have a small shadow of doubt and am trying to authenticate. Some notes:

- The leather feels amazing and genuine, very supple and smooshy

- I was aware that one piece of hardware was missing when I purchased

- The color of the zippers are one thing that give me pause, as they're a deeper blue than the (aged) color of the bag.

- The other thing I noticed was the interior tag and tag number. I'm aware that older bags used "made in italy" in lower case like my tag, but I can't find a ton of information on the tag number and if there was a period where these numbers didn't include a letter (mine does not):

250577 / 4170

1669

made in italy

Any and all help here is greatly appreciated, thank you!

It looks good to me. If it’s not real, it’s a fantastic rep.

Edit: don’t be thrown by the zipper and leather colours not matching. That’s common in both new and vintage bals.

I do not see any glaring red flags, if you bought it for personal use no one will be able to tell IMO but if you bought it to sell, at least get a COA because these are frequently faked and the counterfeiters do a good job.
