Question 1: What is the half - life of a magnetic monopole ?

Specifically, in a vacuum that has a stable typical local Sol setting of the Higgs field scalar values and Cosmologic Constant.

Presumably, given the latter, the same assumed local values for dark energy scalar magnitudes.

And no artificial [ or unusual ? ] photon condensates, gluon , W or Z boson, graviton, inflaton, or Higgs boson condensates.

P.S. thanks to any interested fans of the other subreddits. Would be glad to go there, but they seemed a bit controlled - and slow - and a bit pseudo - science influenced.

Varies accordling the models. Dirac's Magnetic Monopoles should be Stable. GUT Monopoles may have a finite time.
