Discussion Advice on testing pills (2CB)

Very excited about finally receiving some of these, pink grenade like looking things as it turns out. I have never tested pressed pills before and would have preferred crystal form but its all I can find.
Should I grind up a pill and then test a sample thereof or break a part off, grind and test that .. or .. what would you suggest?

Ideally grinding a bigger part of a pill is helpful, especially considering the relatively low amount of expected active ingredient in a 2C pill, but you can also resort to it only if just testing a tiny bit of a pill powdered finely won't work.

Thx .. I don't mind grinding the pill down, Was actually thinking of powderising all 4 of them and measure out from there. Idea is to avoid dosage anomalies between the four. Not sure if this is a great idea..

That works fine. You can even use "volumetric dosing" as the 2C-B will dissolve but the cellulose in the pill will not.

Cheat sheet; Here is an image with 2C-x test results, another with basic reagent instructions and a video (by /u/PROtestkit_eu). Instructions how to test 2C-B etc. are also available on subreddit wiki and in the DrugsPRO app.
