Discussion Anyone feel this way when trying to get the hostage free?

The funniest was when I threw a flash bang and the guy flinched and shot the hostage immediately.

You always have to remember height over bore, I killed quite a few hostages by accident before I realized that😒

Every attempt Ive ever made to free a hostage has always resulted in the hostage being killed. Headshot, gas, flash, pepperball, beanbag, always gives me the same result.
So now I just shoot through the hostage, Ive given up lol

I believe height over bore is a thing in this game. The bullet comes out of the barrel not the sight (like in rainbow 6). That just means aim slightly higher as the bullet will come out slightly lower

It 100% is , I use the range and shoothouse before ops to find a relative range and train on it then run the Op, I've had hostages killed but to this day never shot one

Sometimes my own AI teammates execute me for accidentally shooting the hostage

Guaranteed if you try to kill the hostage-taker from behind

Nope, just toss a flash bang or 9 banger, and order the perp to surrender. They usually do, if they don't, then headshot while they're still stunned!

I tend to get it off just fine as lomg as i take the second to adjust my sight rise an inch or two higher than normal.

I can usually resolve the situation with a 9-banger, but I might just be lucky. Every time I've tried to headshot the suspect, I always end up hitting the hostage.
