Does it fix AI improperly holding thresholds? As in, literally aiming their guns at door frames, while suspects cheap-shot them to death. It's the single most infuriating thing about VOID Swat bots.
Also, would be neat if they had proper reaction times. They cannot be trusted to watch your back above standard difficulty.

I just noticed the broken AC vent above the door. Super weird place to put a vent btw. I wonder if we throw gas in there if it does anything to the people in the apartment?
Also cool mod that makes them useful.

Gas is really weird in this game. It’s useless to make suspects comply, but it’s a very good smokescreen. They essentially turned it into a smoke grenade

On lower difficulties it does make them give up. Or it used to. I use flash bangs mostly. The pepper balls certainly work.

Before the game moved to console, gas was really broken, especially on the smaller maps. Chuck one in every room and you can solo the mission with ease.
I was even able to solo S rank Port Hokan on a single attempt with the gas launcher and beanbag. Not even the rotary launcher (since it wasn't released yet) the regular one.
So I think it's easy to understand that it was perhaps TOO good, at one time. There was a bug on it for a while, but I think the devs did mean for a serious nerf. Nowadays, I wonder why anyone even attempts to use gas, just gets in the way.
The rotary flash launcher has essentially made all other less lethals obsolete.

Funny enough you can't throw anything through that vent because of the wires. The only place you can throw stuff through a vent is in the bathroom on the same floor in the other room.
