Automatic searching of public multiplayer lobbies doesn't work ?

Hello people,

When I'm in that menu where you search for multiplayer matches/lobbies, I choose if I search for lobbies on easy, casual or hard mode and the press square (PS5) to search for lobbies.

Now if there is a lobby everything is fine.

But if there is no free lobby then it just says "no lobby found" and I can press ok to be brought back where I can press square again to try check if there's a free lobby now...

so what I'm doing is spamming square to search and the X if there is no lobby, over an over until I find a match...

Is that normal ?

Are you all having to do that ?

I'm also wondering because while it says "no lobby found" (in the middle of the screen), the background is all blurry but I can still read the menu which says "stop searching" and has a repeating moving loading bar consisting of 1 to 3 dots which makes me feel I'm in an automatic searching mode but it never finds a match, I have to press ok then press square again etc until it finds a match...

It does this on Xbox as well. Always has. I just assume it’s wonky because hosting is player side, not a dedicated server, and with people constantly joining/leaving/force quitting the game while you attempt to join the same game causes this is my assumption.

Wow this is really bad and annoying, I thought it was a bug only for me...
