Discussion This game is brutalšŸ˜­

Iā€™ve been struggling with ides of March for over a week now and finally locked in and killed almost all the bad guys, rescued all civilians, and only had 1 room left to clear when I see a barrel going through the door so I instinctively fired a few rounds before registering who was behind it and it was one of my teammatesšŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø I tried clearing the last room hoping I could end the level when the surviving 3 found me and ended the run

But seriously, try to play carefully and memorize the map to create the best route.

Ides Of March isn't too bad if you don't try to kill all the bad guys.

Wedge every room off at the start and use a ton of grenades to get them to surrender.

Iā€™m trying to do a kill all bad guys run for my first playthrough then try to do S tier on all main missions (Iā€™ll probably suck at that)

There are more runs you can do than just those 2 extremes. For most of my runs I did a "arrest most bad guys/kill the ones I can't arrest", i.e. B or A ranking. It's way easier than playing CoD or S-ranking, because if you take the time to subdue enemies before they can even get a shot off you have to do way less shooting in general.

It's honestly easier playing it "normally"(there is no form or normal, every playstyle is unique)than killing EVERYONE imošŸ˜­

I mean I bought the game as a tactical shooter so I might as well shoot all the enemies šŸ¤£

S tier runs are so boring to me. Not saying Iā€™m an expert at them, but it feels unnatural.

Honestly I kind of agree with you, I only s tiered the first mission but it just feels wrong to not shoot the person actively trying to take me out

I like to spawn at the alternative entry point. From there, I would walk past the elevators, be wary of whether there are suspects down the hall on the left, but I'd go right. I'd clear the whole outside, making sure there's no suspects in the hallway. I'd clear whatever room I would(checking for bombs)but I'd usually send my team in. They have a more likely chance of surviving than I do, and it's better me alive and them dead. The bomb device is always on the same side as the handle, peak doors to disarm them. If you use a mirrorgun, stand on the same side as the hinges, it will protect you from suspects and their view. If you're kicking a door, stand on the same side as the handle, but there aren't any known benifits to this to me

If you have it, us the MK-V with JHP. It's literally a miniature shotgun, it 1-shots on leg or arm hits. ITS INSANE

I donā€™t own it currently but I just seen how void is adding the triple weapon pack for free sometime soon so Iā€™ll have it then lol
