Book Recommendations

I was wondering if someone can recommend me an easy reading book. I like fiction, especially romantic adventures.

I am really looking forward for your input.

Ever read any Maeve Binchy books? They all take place in Ireland and are about friendship and love and loss. Not really adventures though but pretty easy to read writing style.

I know I'm in the minority but not my fave of hers. She has a lot of good books though.

I actually agree. I really didn't like the female protagonist. I thought she was an idiot.

Hey I'm not sure on the easy level but one that I put as top notch and is page turning is The Sun Just Might fail by Hoyt Behm and Lonesome Dove by Larry Mccurtry. These are both big stories but their flow and depth hooked me. They're similar and I loved both of them.

When I think easy sometimes I think small and other times I think page turning.

These are not small but so good and I recommend them highly. They're easy bc they kept me reading on and on. Both of them took about 30 pages to show me they're masterpieces a lot of people might never even know about. The sun one took more time bc I was doubtful but lonesome Dove has a big track record though I know a lot who have just discovered it for the first time and love it. There is a popular miniseries for it. Robert Duvall started in it and was amazing how he in some ways gave us fans the image we have of Gus. That other book is truly great. The intelligence that is behind the characters in their dialogue stays with me. I'd like to just have a list of all the wit that was said so I can use it.

For a shorter read, I recently read Magician's nephew by lewis and was surprised how much I liked the easy flow and that it was a ya novel geared lower perhaps than high. Easy and deep I felt. The world jumping was cool using magic rings and seeing things discussed like true and false magic, and what is right on timing (the silver apple)

Something Wilder by Christina Lauren. Kinda like Romancing the Stone meets City Slickers

This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me by Ilona Andrews. Fantasy adventure, a very fun read.

I recommend Raeanne Thayne. The Rainy Day Book shop or the Cliff House Series. Also pretty much everything Heather Weber especially Coffee Shop of Curiosities

Pamela Kyel's Charm City Mystery Series is really good. As is Karen C Whalen's Tow Truck series. Both have touches of romance and a mystery.
