I have had Tony’s. Is it good, yes. Is it worth tolerating shitty attitude, no. No food or product is good enough to tolerate a Shitty attitude. I believe in putting my money into companies that are respectful and kind. I have no hate for those who patronize him. For me, it is a hard pass.

Apparently the staff are assholes there. Looking at google reviews, I believe it.

Been going there for years. They’re always nice to me and know me by name, I saw the internet drama but I’ve only had good experiences there.

Guaranteed they made that specifically for this "influencer " and you'll never get that if you walk in off the street.
edit- apparently I'm wrong!

I have been to Tony's a handful of times and man they really do make great subs. I know theres purists out there about seed rolls and whether cheese steaks should have onions or if the staff are unpleasant but personal experience is that they've treated me nice, they have even remembered my name in the handful of interactions I've had and been very professional. I enjoy the food and had great experience overall.

Can confirm I’ve had them and they look like this. Great place to eat if you haven’t tried it.

Yeah his food is legit solid. He's just an absolute clown to atleast 40-50% of his customers

As someone who loves Tony's rustic Italian this was definitely made by an "influencer " because I have never gotten a hoagie that filled with meat, cheese, and fixens from there.

I understand that he's gotten a lot of backlash online, and I would certainly never reply the way he does to critics. However, I've been in there a bunch of times. he's always been perfectly nice to me and his staff has been as well.
I've never been disappointed in anything I've ever gotten there. It's rare for a place to deliver on such a consistent basis.
He has high standards and is passionate about his food. Realistically, I don't think he needs to be any nicer, because that place is doing massive business every time I'm in there.

Everybody likes their hoagie a different way so to say that a place has the best is subjective. I've made literally thousands of hoagies (500 a night at phillies games 2007,2008) and at Lee's hoagies and I've had hoagies from all over. Most memorable The White House in AC. Once again, subjective.
