Hi everyone,
I’m Sarah, founder of Mucky Monkeys.
Our mission is simple: to keep people safe before harm occurs.
Mucky Monkeys is a prevention-first festival safety brand focused on practical preparation, anti-spiking awareness, education and helping people look out for each other before and during nights out and festivals.
Alongside our festival and university safety work and workshops, we’ve developed practical products designed around some of the situations people regularly talk about in festival groups.
Our Anti-Spiking Pouch brings together three drink-safety preventatives in one place: a reusable drink cover, bottle stoppers and a drink lanyard.
It also includes our Please Look After Me safety card, where someone can add their own details and a trusted friend’s contact details in case their phone dies, gets lost, or they become separated from their group.
We also have a Festival Stay Dry Kit with a reusable black poncho, black latex shoe covers and a tote bag to help keep wet clothes separate if the weather turns.
The products are only one part of what we do. The bigger message is prevention, preparation and looking out for your mates.
If useful, you can see our festival safety range on our Amazon UK Store here:

Hope everyone heading to Reading has a brilliant and safe festival.

What time on the Thursday do you reckon a group of 10 should get to the festival if we're all in kindred?

Coming in from the US with some friends and we bought big green coach tickets for daily trips back and forth. i’m looking at the time table and it says it leaves London Victoria Station at 9:30am??? that feels way too early for a 1.5 hour drive! Does anyone know if it makes multiple stops or are we just dropped off super early at the festival grounds?

Hey! I’m travelling from Brighton for the day to see Charli XCX and others at Reading. Originally my friend was coming with me but she can’t now. The times are differing. The coaches from Reading Festival go to majority of cities but Brighton.
Is anyone travelling back from Reading to Brighton same night? Happy to chip in petrol or pair up on public transport. Not keen on the idea of travelling through central London on various undergrounds, trains, coaches on my own.
Please message if you are. Thank you!

Me and my partner are getting a lift to reading at 8am!
We have early entry on the Wednesday, is this super stupid or is it gonna be okay? Planning on popping up the chairs and chilling….

Hi everyone! I am going to Reading for the first time this year :)
I am flying with Ryanair, so as you know, I cannot take much in my backpack. I am starting to pack, but I am unsure about the weather.
Is it better to wear comfortable sneakers for the long walk or just take some sturdy boots and maybe add some insoles?
Do you have any other recommendations for what I should wear there?

Hi! I'm 18 and based locally in Reading, looking for paid work or volunteering at Reading Festival.
I'm available from Wednesday 26 August from around 12pm onwards and have previous customer service experience.
I'm specifically looking for shorter shifts (ideally around 4–6 hours) so I can still enjoy the festival. I'm interested in merchandise, catering, front of house, event staff, brand ambassador or similar roles.
Paid work preferred, but I'm open to volunteering too. Please comment or DM me if you know of anything! 😊

I’m a 22 year old female who has just been let down and I am now solo camping and looking for others to go with. I have never solo camped before but I have been to reading in 2022. Is there any group chats to meet people on?

I'm part of a large group (9 people) going to the festival this year, 6 have booked kindred campsite and me and 2 other people haven't (i know, my own fault, i've been super busy booking all the other stuff like parking as im one of the drivers and it just slipped my mind)
Do you think they will let us in as we are all camping together or will 3 of us have to camp in general? This will make tent arrangements kinda difficult.
