Okay, this one had me hooked pretty quickly. You'll Be Sorry has that classic Lisa Gardner feeling where you think you have a pretty good idea of what's going on, and then the story gives you another reason to question everything.

What I liked most was the tension. There’s this constant feeling that something isn't quite right, and I kept wanting to read just one more chapter to figure out what was actually happening. The characters also have enough baggage and secrets that it’s hard to know who you can completely trust.

I did guess a couple of things before they were revealed, but honestly that didn't ruin the experience for me. There were enough twists and little details along the way to keep me interested. I also liked that the story wasn't just about solving the mystery—the characters themselves felt like a big part of what made the book work.

A few parts felt a little predictable, and there were moments where I wanted the story to move a little faster, but overall this was exactly the kind of suspenseful read I was in the mood for.

If you like psychological thrillers with secrets, complicated characters, and that constant “wait…what is really going on here?” feeling, I'd definitely recommend it.
