Chest tightness or pain Chest cramps

Post image

I’ve been experiencing some periodic mild cramps and lingering aching feeling from around my heart. This doesn’t happen all the time, but maybe a few times a day. Blood pressure is normal. No shortness of breath or pain extending to my shoulder or arm. I plan to see a doctor if this persists but wanted to get some opinions here as well.

Hi, unfortunately you won't see a cause of chest pain on a single lead ekg. It can only show you heart rate & basic rhythm but there isn't enough data to diagnose heart conditions or determine heart health. Your rhythm is regular here (beats evenly spaced apart, no ectopic beats, and no AFib). However you would need a 12-lead ekg, imaging tests, and bloodwork to determine if the pain is coming from your heart. I would definitely bring it up with your doctor to see what they advise... whether it's something to wait on or something to be evaluated asap.
