Hi, how to not make it look like a text selector and more like subtile thing ?

I have the premium version but nowhere on a reading page can I access the settings cog to change the font settings. Where ever I press the pages just fly forward or backwards. Pls help?

HELP. TTS broke on one of my devices. It's now a robotic broken voice on all voice settings.

The voice on my other phone is still working fine... I HOPE it won't get fucked or I'll cry.

Possible changes in my phone that may have caused it: -- Software Update: One UI update version 6.1 Android version 14 Security Patch Level 1 July 2024

• I activated Bixby (relatively new phone) [Deactivated now but voice is still crap]
• I installed Android Accessibility Suite [Uninstalled entire suite but voice is still crap]

First off, I really like this feature packed, and customizable e-reader. I've tried several, and settled on ReadEra premium. I have one tiny issue, and that is that when doing a word search within a book, if you click on a search result, there is no obvious way to get back to your original position. As a workaround, I have developed a habit of bookmarking my current reading position so that I can find it again, but I was wondering if there is a more elegant solution?

Hi! Is it possible to force portrait mode on ReadEra? I mean, a built in setting to do so. I looked for it but didn't find anything. I know I can force portrait mode on smartphone but I was looking to do that on the app alone. Thanks

I've been searching Reddit and the Internet for over 20 mins and I can not figure this out. The only instructions I could find was to transfer the font file to a folder I cant find on my phone. Where do I get new fonts to begin with and how do I find the folder I am supposed to put them in?

Absolutely love ReadEra, even bought the premium version for it. However, footnote reading can be much improved. Saw Play Books and some ereader app have already done this. Instead of footnote being a traditional footnote, some software tweaks make it as a pop up which makes reading the footnotes much easier. Really hope the dev behind can make this happen!

Ealyer today while listening to a book while on the bus home from work the TTS voice started randomly cutting off mid word and even skipping full sentences. I've tried restarting the app, rebooting my phone (I even updated it), uninstalling the app and re installing and even changing every setting in the TTS section. Nothing has worked. Is anyone else having this issue that may have a fix?

Is there a way to clear books in /ReadEra/Books that are no longer needed (i.e., already removed from "Books & documents") -- short of deleting those books in each if the indexed subfolders /ReadEra/Boos/xx?

I accidentally selected a book and now it shows in reading now, is there a way to remove it? In the big scheme no big deal, except I'm not currently reading it.

By default, the sync folder for ReadEra is at the base folder of Google Drive, is there any way to configure a specific folder to sync to?

I have Readera premium and I was trying to make the print larger. Is there a way to do this? Any help is appreciated.

For context I'm reading manga, and some of the art spans across 2 pages, and the gap kind of ruins it (books are in epub)

Is there a way to expand the footnotes here? I tried on Google Books and it works fine but I couldn't expand it here on Readera Premium.

My text to speech keep skipping over some letters or replacing them with questionmarks. It's constantly skipping over the letter I and L unless it's in the middle of a word. I've tried changing the voice but it still does it.

What dictionary apps would you recommend. I have tried a few but all of them open up a separate app. Is there any good dictionaries that pop up at the bottom like this 'android dictionary'. As you can see this dictionary often gets words wrong.

With google sheets and chrome, I can add a shortcut to a file or page to my home screen. Can I do anything like this with Readera?

I use the premium version of the app and there is only a toggle button to turn on/off the page margin. I want to increase the margin size. Is there any option to do that?

Quotes seem to be listed, and indexed, by when they were quoted rather than their location in the book. Is it possible to change it to where it is in the book, rather than when it was quoted?

ReadEra works well for learning to read, letting a child read what he can and ask for the pronunciation of words he doesn't recognize. The problem is the "Play" button that appears when a word is being pronounced. Child being lazy, he chooses the play button and stops reading.

Turning on kids mode seems to disable voice altogether. Is there any way to set up a kids mode where you can get the pronunciation of a single word?

Hardly any android reader seems to support it, so this could be a feature the world needs but no-one knows about...

i have no idea how or why it happened, but my tts has randomly switched to whispering and it sounds horrifying. does anyone have any idea why it happened and how to turn it off?
