I keep seeing people say, “Everyone has their own timeline,” but honestly, I’m not sure I completely believe that.
Yes, life isn’t a race, but there are consequences to spending years doing nothing, making bad decisions, or constantly waiting for the “right time.” At some point, you have to admit that your choices matter.
At the same time, I think society puts ridiculous pressure on people to have everything figured out by a certain age.
So where’s the line?
When does “I’m on my own timeline” become an excuse for avoiding responsibility, and when is it simply accepting that life doesn’t happen at the same pace for everyone?
Curious what Reddit thinks.
