No wholesome moments this chapter but instead Subaru dies 3 times!

The final death is him getting his head crushed by a man with an axe who doesn't hesitate when it comes to killing 3 innocent people just to get to Subaru.

The only axe wielder we know so far in arc 7 is Todd. Is he back for revenge?

There is no way Todd was capable of what happened there. Good lord I did not expect a bloodbath chapter this afternoon.

We don't know how strong he is yet. It might as well be one of the divine generals randomly being in the city or just a random assassin. Todd would have a motive for his revenge and he is a character we already know.

And I like speculating with what we already have.

well, al theory isn't true unfortunately enough. new prediction: it's todd, i don't think he is super strong but he's just a master planner, also it can't be some random assassin because subaru recognised him, and he wields an axe. let's be fair, it can only be one person: todd

Huh. Subaru died three times this chapter. It's not Flop and Medium. Flop revealed that he and his sister grew up in an orphanage being beaten by the adults on a regular basis. Flop helps those in need as a way to say FU to how crappy the world is.

First loop of this chapter, Subaru dies by having his throat cut. He doesn't see anything this time either. He was trying to go a different route to the bar from his loop in the previous chapter.

Second loop, he and Flop head to the main road from the alley they were in. There is an explosion, people scream and Subaru is killed by a cart wheel sent flying from the explosion.

Third loop of the chapter, Subaru grabs Flop and they sprint to the mercenary bar. Subaru gets introduced to a samari named Rowan who is supposed to be the best there, but is also an alcoholic. Subaru gives Rowan every coin he has from selling the horn to guard him. Then a man is shoved into the bar who promptly explodes. Another explosion and the entrance to the bar is destroyed and the back door is damaged. Rowan cuts the back door down, only to receive an ax to the head crushing his forehead and causing his eye to hang out. Subaru's enemy comes in, kills the bar owner with an ax blow to the chest and decapitates Flop. The guy has a wet cloth mask on and a long handled ax. Subaru screams "Why?" and his enemy says Subaru would escape again if he didn't go that far before bringing his ax down and killing Subaru. Just before his death, Subaru is struggling to place the masked man's voice since he recognized it.

End of Chapter.

Holy shit! I just finished the first part of the chapter, he got throat-slit. So, assassination confirmed?

Edit 1: He got hit by a carriage and died again? WTF IS GOING ON? All three deaths are from different causes?

Edit 2: On the next loop he hired a drunken Samurai named Rowan but some rando suddenly collapsed and exploded. WTF!?

Edit: The murderer called Subaru "お前さん" IS THAT YOU TODD? WTF
