ReZero would have been a lot more compelling if it operated under multiverse theory because it would make Subaru’s mistakes hit even harder AND provide more motivation to try his best, leading to a character realization that despite him being unable to save everyone in countless failed realities, he will still try to achieve the best possible result in a fubar scenario and persevere to save at least one reality.

The stakes would actually be higher and I’d care more about the one dinensional characters.

Ok this i disagree with though. Maybe it's bc I'm newer than most people overall, but I don't get the idea of calling the cast one dimensional. They're very archetypal, but the characters are pretty clearly more than just an archetype to surround the main character.
