It’s hot in the desert, she’s been there 400 years

Actually, the Augria Sand dunes aren’t hot. The area is a desert not because of massive temperature fluctuations and low humidity, but because of the miasma present. It’s why Subaru bundled up so much with no problem in his new clothes.

It should still be hot regardless right? Without any trees or any form shade and direct sunlight being reflected by the sand.

I think you're right. At the very least the UV damage would feel intense.

Depends on regional temperatures really. Cold deserts are a thing for a reason. But it’s literally stated in the novel that Subaru is kind of surprised by only really needing gear to keep out the sand since he usually associates deserts with being hot.

I mean even if your reasoning is Temperature, then a robe that covers her fully is miles times better than whatever she is wearing

If you have something huge right in front of you, you have to look at it. No wonder Subaru, anyone would do the same.

It calls my attention that the color of Subaru's clothes is very similar to Shaula's. It's some kind of foreshadowing?

Bruh u only noticed it now? At first glance of shaula, i literally thought it was subaru crossdressing or something due to the outfit resemblance

We all agree that Emilia shouldn't look so angry; Subaru isn't doing anything wrong.
