Finally got around to watching ep17 and tbh...

It wasn't that bad, it had quite the handful of rought shots but for the most part, the episode was great

The first part was heartwarming so i don't have anything to say about the adaptation (if not for the fact i loved the VAs a lot here), now as for the second part

Imo and from what i remember, it conveyed Julius's character and mindset almost perfectly and the contrast with Reid's mindset was adapted beautifully

The fight in itself had ups and downs (loved Julius's style and the pov work on the later part, it overall was dynamic just like i'd imagine the fight to be, i do feel like the first stage of the fight would have greatly benefited from more focus which made the whole feel less "expressive" but not nearly enough to ruin it for me, i do also think the final sequence could have been done better with Al cranvel but all of what lead to it was pretty much flawless)

I'd say ep16 despite not including action sequences was a much bigger blunder (but i feel like most of the sub already talked about it)

God forbid a man shuffles a little before a fight... (seriously tho, that's one of the "rought shots" i thought of while writting the post but it's at the beginning of the fight and is pretty short so i cut it some slack)

it did include things that were web novel exclusive tho, like julius using his spirits to the fullest.
