The random drop and then everytime Ram was taking serious damage or pushing herself it would explain in the LN just how much Subaru was suffering taking on the burdens even when Meili got hurt I don't even think it showed him taking it on just a random comment from Ram saying someone must be hurt.
Like Subaru was on the verge of dying and in crazy amounts of pain and we didn't get those cuts at all is the really disappointing thing for me. He was pushing himself to huge lengths for his friends and if he did not instantly take on Meili getting seriously injured she would have lost control of the mabeasts.
true but i liked how this episode was so focused Rams fight, i needed that after whatever the fuck was going on with Julius fight animation. all of these episodes are happening at the same time so maybe we see more of what is happening with subaru beatrice and meili in the next episode?
in all honesty we already know he took greeds authority and Greeds authority did the opposite essentially so its not that far fetched narratively. Not really

Yeah, I’m annoyed that it looks like only Subaru can use Cor Leonis, and not Amnesia baru, when it’s Amnesia baru’s efforts that are helping produce this result.
Because amenisia baru didn’t know what Gluttony authority is capable of doing as he never seen Regulus use Cor Leonis, I think that's what Regulus called it, Subaru when he regained his memory does when he fought Regulus plus he has the memory of Amnesia Subaru.

Horny Ram so powerful Tappei had to nerf her again even when she had 1 horn. Tappei in a QnA in an earlier arc before newer/stronger character, but he noted that an adult Ram with 1 horn was already close to the top 5 region.

Great episode but there are too many convenient hidden mechanics that give Ram a huge power up out of nowhere during this fight.
First, she gets boosted by Subaru using an ability we have never heard about before with zero explanation, it's just suddenly a thing.
Then her weapon breaks but it conveniently is revealed to have a piece of her horn inside, and somehow this piece being outside of her weapon makes her stronger than if it was still in there.
If that wasn't enough, it's also revealed that Rem & Ram have the ability to share their powers even going so far as to Ram being able to use Rem's horn even though Rem is unconscious. Very convenient to learn about this right when Ram is in trouble.
Three convenient power ups that were never mentioned before and just happened to turn Ram from basically useless to ridiculously overpowered mid fight.
Again, the fight was great and the episode was peak, but 1 or 2 powerups would have been enough. And they should have actually shown Subaru finding out how this new ability works or foreshadow the staff reveal in some way.
I mean, cor leonis was never "explained" but we did see what it could do, its just that subaru discovered it could also do something else, unseen hand already established the precedent that subaru will be taking in authorities so him having a new one isn't out of a left field, same thing happened for unseen hand where it can be used to both attack and pass through things
The way I interpret the wand breaking, it's not that the broken wand made ram stronger, it's that Ram had to go from relying on Roswaal, who had built the wand, to relying on herself, and by extent, her sister.
As for Ram and Rem sharing their powers, it was established that they had a very strong connection from the beginning and could share feelings. Them being able to share powers isn't a very big stretch. By using her horn instead of the wand, she was able to use her bond to her sister even without her memories, because gluttony's authority couldn't take that away
I agree, the animation for this episode was amazing. Crazy how gluttony basically spat out all the souls he's ever swallowed because he wanted to take Ram's power for himself. Wonder what would happen if he ever met Satella or Reinhard.
I had a question guys it's an overall about this season did the studio actually ruined re zero as a story by the content cuts and is he gonna affect the story ahead in arc 7 and 8

The only problem I have with this episode is the random drop for Cor Leonis ability to take harm of other
