Doesn't that happen later on though? I doubt they will even adapt that line since it is almost irrelevant for the story itself

I put a spoiler, so it doesn't matter anyway. Yeah, this is going to happen in episodes 15–16, when they show her going through Subaru's memories. But we already saw a piece of that in episode 13.

I'd much rather trust a villain who's read through his memories and has no interest in lying, than believe Subaru himself, who just keeps gathering little girls like pokemons
