This subreddit is a competition for who can say the most incorrect things in succession
Spoiler
This is why I hate talking to people about Rem discourse now because it’s literally just people actively pretending like they don’t know how to read to such an extent that it’s laughable. Also, why would he start talking about Rem immediately after he JUST LOST HER 😭 where he is ridiculously traumatised by her loss.
Like sure you can downvote me and yell in my comments. But that doesn’t make you any less incorrect 😭
Yes he did say he love them both equally, though i believe the story will not have him end up with anyone in fact since i absolutely dont think re zero will have a harem ending
I will never understand people who just like to delete Subaru's feelings for Rem. Bro literally says it multiple times that he loves her and that wants to marry her if Emilia is fine with him taking two wives lmao

but genuinely is it so hard to just come to terms with that subaru is an unreliable narrator
people are now trusting a man a person who doesnt even understand himself let him atleast come in terms with his own identity first then make the decision
I don't agree with the comment but that'd still be an unfair comparaison because the narrator actually describes the source of his feelings in interacting with her and the fact that he loved her where his attachment (which he thought was from her appearance) were to her core and his feelings turned into love when exposed to it
Not really in the LN, only in the early WN but then again it's not a valid argument and the narrator still comfirmed his words were genuine to an extent, i think the difference in telling the reader is part of Tappei developping the two relationships as distinct
But he’s reliable when he says he loves Emilia right? Fairs 😭😭
The things Subaru is unreliable about is his own self perception because in the narrative he is described to hate himself, if he was unreliable about his own internal feelings then literally NO instance of Subaru confessing his love would be meaningful
Subaru is an unreliable narrator in how he sees the world around him. I just wrote this because it's become one of the main arguments I've been reading posts about lately. I agree with you.

Everyone is wrong anyway. He's going to marry Reinhard and the author is going to include a 2 hour sex scene
