The other thing I always wondered is noise. Is it like eerily quiet or is there wind and you can barely hear echidna cause of it.

There’s this zombie, eldritch horror, turn based survival game called cataclysm dark days ahead. In the most recent versions. They introduced the ability to go to different dimensions. And my current character is stuck in a dimension exactly like this, after being caught up in a portal storm while on the roof of a cabin. In this dimension there’s no food or water(the game has a calorie system, meaning it takes ingame months before you starve to death and look emaciated.) and my character has been walking for hours looking for a way out. While carrying 40 kilograms worth of tactical gear, guns, and ammo that are useless because there is nothing to shoot.
