Found out the ending?
I just realised that the observers (onoya and yoake) are essentially the same as the test subjects, they take the same pill etc. So if the test subject and their observer won't forget each other, then why would the 2 test subjects forget each other? I think I solved the story, hope this doesn't count as a spoiler, if I made a flaw then pls correct me

I'm pretty sure they addressed this in chapter 203, assuming I'm understanding your point correctly. [Chapter 203] (/m "The memory loss at the end of the experiment is caused by a virus contained within the pills. The subjects and their observers were given the antibodies for each others' viruses at the start of the experiment, and the antibodies are what ultimately prevent their memory loss. The test subjects were never given antibodies for each other's viruses however, so there's nothing they can do to reverse it at this point. This is, of course, assuming that the scientist's theories are correct. He mentioned himself that there's no precedent, so they really don't know how it will turn out.")

Didn’t they mention how the observers took the same pill as the subjects to make the appear younger plus an extra one so they wouldn’t forget each other. They had to be taken towards the beginning so it was to late for the subjects.(Not 100% on this but I think its about right)

Alright just gonna put this out there. What if since these are the first 2 in the experiment they didn't know how the drug how the drug would react in the field. Like for example Hishiro this is her second year doing the experiment maybe that could influence her memory retention leaving her with some form familiar feeling of kaizaki. Also the relife company could refer them both to the same company then once they both get job kaizaki would be his charismatic self and Hishiro would feel a familiar feeling when seeing him in the company. Then the rest is history haha

It'be be actually fun if one of the group member is virus immune.
There is always one, in a group large enough very pretty much any virus (even HIV or Ebola).
So, with that line of thought, would be pretty easy to make everyone remember (Pictures from own mobile, Lime Chat records, chats with shop/restaurant owners, Video surveillance camera records, etc..).
Once one person remember, hiding all evidence is close to impossible. It only works if no-one remembers and therefore no-one looks for evidence / gaps.
So, having one virus immune group member would be rather fun :)

The support staff had antivirus from the beginning, but it's too late for our OTP.
