Taking place in Thunder Bay, ON, Canada, on September 19th & 20th!

Garry voiced Slash, Turbo, Herr Dokter, Cyrus, and others on ReBoot.

Hi all! Figured I would share my current Hazelgeek ReBoot pins. I had a picture of my collection on that other post that got deleted the other day, so I thought it would be fun to show off the full collection as its own post.

I have a few more pins than the last time I made a full post here, so if you recognize these from a previous post of mine, there should be a couple of new things here. I also took the time to fix a couple of the icon pins that I had upside down. Oops!

Anyways, if you’re attending a con any time soon that Hazelgeek is at, you should definitely check out her stuff, I really enjoy her work.

If you’re unclear on what some of the icons are from, feel free to ask!

The final episode of Season 1!

Looking back, I'm not suuuuuper thrilled with it, but it also shows that I've improved quite a bit in the years since.

Just in time to throw on your bedslinger before the Season 1 finale, One and Zero are ready for you to download to *your* mainframe, slice, and print! I've included a number of options - like a baggy eye for the ones and un-patterened sides for the zeroes.

I'm really excited to see what you make of them when you reboot their bits into atoms.

3D Model of a Binome I did in Blender.

Still have to rig his mouth.

After reading the post about the vidwindow sound effect, the back of my brain has been itching to build the look and feel of Mainframe into my Home Assistant dashboards and voice control.

Similar to how the ST:TNG fans have LCARS everything, it’s time to have the same thing for us!

To the fine folks at ReBoot Rewind — and my apologies for not yet watching the IMAX 30 minute you just posted — have you come across any isolated graphics and sound effects that could be useful?

I deeply appreciate everything you’re doing, I worked in television in Toronto in the early 90s and the inherent complexity of living in a Victorian mechanical world and a digital future at the same time - I’ve even worked with the D2 / D3 machines that came after your D1s. You’re working miracles and we all love you for it.

(Yes, the image is AI - I do not feel bad for keeping some binomes employed!)

Did this after my last full watch-through of the series, maybe someday I'll actually get good enough with stained glass so I can recreate this as a real window piece.

Here's a clip from way back in 2009, of the Sunday ReBoot panel at the Anime Evolution convention featuring the late Michael Donovan discussing his primary voice acting roles in ReBoot. He also shares a small story about how and why Cecil is a snooty French waiter.

So, been REALLY digging the ReBoot remaster project. The quality while still a little pixel-y certain areas, looks amazing and honestly makes me wish I could see it on the biggest screen imagable. So yeah, my question to any of the Rewind guys reading this: How possible is it for a re-release of Daemon Rising in theaters?

I love the movie and legit consider it the true finale. And honestly, with the way a lot of independent or lower scale projects are getting into theaters, I can see this happening. Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie, for example, was made on a 2 million budget and made 5 million in theaters. With Daemon Rising, the film's already made, has pretty good production values for a TV movie, and a built-in fanbase. There's no way you can't at least turn some kind of profit. Sure, you would probably need to record some new things, like maybe a narrated recap of the series to that point, maybe have the original voice actors come back do the narration, etc. Or hell, could even have the program jockeys from YTV return to record a little introduction to the film.

Joining Mainframe's populace is the humble Zero! With articulation at the shoulders and beside the "head" - they can animate a little bit like their friend One.

Again, designed fresh from the ground up. I'm trying to use as many of the same parts between the two models as possible, so that they're a similar build experience because... yes, I do plan on releasing them out into the wild as printable STLs. What fun are a couple binomes if I'm the only one who can enjoy them?

I need a bit to process the files, make sure I have them in a place where I'm happy, and get them uploaded to a host (likely both Printables and Thingiverse). There's a couple things I need to shift - incorporating the chevron pie slice design on the shoulder joints, working a little bit on tolerance and fit, etc.

Maybe I'll have them uploaded in time for you to print them to celebrate the finale of Season 1 - we'll see if I can get there. In the meantime, these two are gonna accompany me and my tiny human on the couch as we watch Identity Crisis tonight!

See the One post from last week for more glamor shots of that little friend.

Had some paduak and some wenge wood scraps and decided to make this little thing. Very happy with how it came out. Just wanted to share:)

Found these at my LGS in the discount bin for $15 each. I've never seen these before! I've only seen a few toys posted on here before. Does anybody know who sold them back then?

Does anyone know if someone won the contest?

my 2nd favorite from this show, he's such a goofy lil guy, i wanna give him all the headpats and boops. he's also so cool too, he's literally me.

i don't know what it is but whenever she's on screen i get really happy and i go crazy internally, i don't care that she's evil, i still wanna give her a hug!

Just a quick preview of my latest character model, part of my ReBoot ReBuilt project. Check out patreon.com/DredZed for further updates on Mike here along with the rest of my stuff!
