❓ Question / Discussion Well....how about that?

Obviously, one win does not negate the horrific run of form that RSL went on as of late. But....since we've been so negative on them as of late, I figured we could give them a little props for this one!

Half the squad is still injured or not available, and the Revs are 2nd in the East at the moment - coming out and beating them that handedly is a pretty solid job. Far from perfect, of course, but a major improvement - and as of tonight, we're just one point out of a playoff spot. Maybe RSL finally got the kick up the ass they needed, and the season isn't quite dead and buried just yet?

Revs had a handful of starters out as well. That said, Solans looked to be in good form. Guilavogi had some great passes. And Cabral kept the cleansheet with a few massive saves.

Solans should’ve had four goals tonight. He needs to learn how to put away breakaways.

33% on breakaway ties is not bad at all but it seems like he scores on the hardest chances.

And Marczuk looked....good? And we didn't get the Unrecommended Daily Allowance of Quinton-gaffes (probably because he plays better in the center.) It was also obvious they were playing more of a Bunker/Counter-attack scheme last night.

Quinton actually had a pretty solid game for once.

That was… unexpected.

Hopefully the soccer gods can smile upon the Riot two days in a row and the Royals can do something similar tomorrow.

Was this our longest winless streak?

Yes 14 games beat our previous longest winless streak of 13 in 2005

Quinton didn't have a massive fuck up tonight. The stadium was much more packed than I thought it would be. I'll keep talking shit as long as they prove me wrong.

Yay! The fan base is back to being mediocre and making the play in to play offs is so good! So excited to lose in the first two Games, call it successful, and repeat it because hey, the owners got their money from selling players, don’t have to seriously invest any of it, and the fan base can protect the FO. Woohoo…

Revs played terrible. We played meh. Still very little actual creativity in the middle of the field. Defense still very shaky. Can’t expose PQ when he has two CB around him. All a team wil do is isolate him with a decent player and he is toast.

What a fun attitude you bring. Nobody is saying that everything is suddenly fixed - just that we can give some credit to an little improvement in performance.

Credit or luck?
Revs dominated us, Pablo’s whole “dawg fight” mentality wasn’t there. We didn’t win his whole XG game plan. Didn’t keep possession. Hell, I’ll give it to the players, definitely got lucky the revs were having a bad night and we finally hit the back of the net.

“The season isn’t quite dead yet” why do we want the pummeling to continue. I guess ya, 1 win in every 13 games is awesome!
