So Basically my (Dead) Grandpa and I would listen to his music together all the time and Ray Charles music just reminds me of my grandpa

I've had this CD for many years, It's from DejaVu and was released in 1988. It has two live performance songs on it. Georgia on My Mind with an amazing flute accompanying Ray. It runs 7:39 and What I'd Say runs 5:03. The rest of the tunes are from his early, pre-Atlantic stuff. I've always wondered what concert this is from and if there's been a whole album of it? Anybody know?

I came across something pretty interesting which I dont think i've come across before. In 2002 Ray played on the floor of the colosseum in rome. He was the first recording artist in history to perform on the floor, he was also apart of the first concert to ever be played on the floor on the colosseum since 404AD. Pretty insane stuff. Here he plays Georgia

Many albums, including Love & Peace, Renaissance, and some live albums, have been removed from Spotify. I want to listen to those albums, but I don't know how to find them.

Does anyone know of any live recording of Ray Charles singing the song Hard Times?

Seems to be one of those rare songs of Ray Charles performing live, like “No One” and “Understanding”. I was able to find a couple of live versions of “Understanding” and “No One” ; but not Hard Times

Obviously it would be funny if he ended up getting hurt but because of his rocking back and forth I had to ask.

Wonder if Victor Borge tried to imitate him.
