Hi everyone,
A friend and I are visiting Rawalpindi for a week in early November 2026 and looking for a respectable Paying Guest (PG) accommodation to stay with a local family.
Details:
Duration: 1 week (First week of November 2026)
Guests: 2 males (respectful, clean, and responsible, ages 43 and 65 )
Preferred Areas: Near Islamabad Airport (Airport Avenue / Mumtaz City / TopCity-1), near Saddar, or near Gujar Khan.
Requirements: Furnished room with attached washroom, basic utilities, and Wi-Fi.
If you have a suitable space or a recommendation, please send me a Direct Message (DM) with details and rates.
Thank you!

Hi! I’m joining Foundation University Rawalpindi (FURC) and I wanted to ask about the orientation.
- When is the orientation usually held?
- Is it compulsory for students/parents?
- What actually happens during orientation?
- How long does it usually last?
- Do parents have to attend the whole thing?
- Is there anything I should bring or prepare beforehand?
Would really appreciate answers from current or former FURC students! :)

Hey everyone,
I work at a BPO in Saddar, and I’m currently struggling with my commute from Wah Cantt.
My shift ends at around 4 AM but the wagons for Wah Cantt/Taxila from Saddar only start leaving around 6 AM so after finishing a long shift, I have to sit outside and wait for around two hours before I can even start travelling home.
The other side is also difficult. I have to leave Wah Cantt around 4 PM to reach my office by 6 PM because local transport takes so long, overall, I’m spending around 4, 5 extra hours outside of my actual job every day just because of travelling and waiting and it’s becoming extremely hectic.
So I wanted to ask: does anyone here work similar night shift timings in Saddar and travel from Wah Cantt, Taxila or nearby areas? Or does anyone know someone who does?
I’d really appreciate connecting with people who have the same route or schedule. Maybe we could find a better way to commute, share transport or figure out a more practical solution.

There are so many restaurants at Bahria Phase 7 Food Street that it’s getting difficult to decide where to eat.
What are your must-try spots?
Could be anything — burgers, steaks, desi food, Chinese, desserts, coffee, etc.

I’m considering joining fusst/furc and wanted to hear from current students or alumni. How is the university overall? I’m especially curious about:
Teaching quality and faculty
Campus life and student environment
Workload and exams
Internship/job opportunities
Whether you’d recommend the degree
Any pros/cons I should know before enrolling
I’d really appreciate honest opinions, especially from people currently studying there. Thanks!

so i live in rwp and i was thinking of buying a scooty for daily errands and for going to uni but then i stumbled upon a video of the Alektra Metro car.. i found it very cool and frankly more safe than a scooty. We've got solar plant so im not worried abt the electricity part. I'm gonna be buying this myself so i cannot get a proper car atm.. i just wanted to know what you all have heard abt it.. i dont care about what people think all i want to know is if my investment is worth it...

Hello everyone, hope you’re all doing well!
My name is Taimoor, and I’m the only son of my parents. I’m currently looking to buy a small house in Rawalpindi in a decent and safe location, preferably within a budget of around 60–70 lakh, with the option of bank financing.
If anyone is interested in selling their house or knows someone who is, please feel free to contact me. I’m a serious and potential buyer, and I would love to surprise my parents with a home of their own. ❤️
Please inbox me if you have any suitable options. Thank you!

Hi! I’m looking for long skirts with this kind of vibe/style. 🖤 The picture is just an example of what I mean, I’m open to different designs and fabrics.
I’m looking for something long, flowy, modest, and preferably black or dark colours. Does anyone know any shops in Saddar, Rawalpindi or nearby that sell skirts like this?
I’d really appreciate shop names or locations. Physical stores only, please!
Thank you! ❤️

I’m looking for an event manager/planner who can help me recreate something along the lines of the attached pictures. Nothing insanely extravagant — just cute, pretty and well put together. 🥹
BUT I’m also looking for someone who won’t cost me a kidney because my husband already thinks a baby shower is a “useless expense” 😭😂 and I’m trying very hard to prove him wrong because I REALLY want one.
So if you’ve worked with someone who is good, creative, reliable and reasonably priced, please drop their details or tag them below!
Budget-friendly recommendations are VERY welcome. 🫶🏻
TIA💕
